The police don't make the rules, they just enforce them. So at what point will a law become too unjust to enforce? At what point does a cop quit his job, because he is the agent of injustice? That is such a stupid attempt to absolve oneself of responsibility.

Are we a Police State?
Yes there is. It would probably take very little effort to post a link to similar infringement of individual rights by local government every day of the week. Too busy to do so, my garden needs weeding. And I can use that excuse every day of the week.
If the link is an indicator of a police state, then the US of A meets the criteria.
There's many groups and corporations using government to force us to do things their way.
Think "Click-it or ticket" - outside money is being funneled to your local area to make citizens comply. Wearing is seatbelt is not a bad thing, it's putting the tyannical thinking into action to force your compliance that is destroying freedom in America.
