Post by: hhjacobs on January 31, 2007, 11:52:07 AM
Henry is remodeling our bathroom and has found a piece of lumber that looks like it says Gibbon Lbr. Co. Howard Kansas.  I can read everything really geood except for the G and I I know Gibbons had a lumber yard in Severy at one time does anyone remember one in Howard?

Yes, it was located where the Pizza Parlor is today.  Don's great-grandfather used to work there in the very early 1900's.  It was there for many, many years, then later it became Barger's Lumber (I think that's what it was called)

Thanks Lois, Henry calls you the "The know it all" , but not in the bad way.  He means in the helpful useful way.
The truck at 99 is on it's side and the road is blocked and routed down and a round though town. There is another tanker there to pump it off.

       Wish I did 'know it all!!"  If I did, I'd have my pockets, purse, and every crevice I could find, lined up with $1000 bills.     I wouldn't have any need for a "budget."
