Lincoln's war killed more than 600,000 Americans and the northern victory over America changed this country from its original intent.

The government schooling and indoctrination is a result of that war and so is the Pledge of Allegiance.  Indivisible?  If this union is indivisible, then sooner or later you'll be surrendering your guns to your government because that's where your true loyalty is.

Jesus was an undocumented child refugee

The situation at the border is heartbreaking: tens of thousands of young children, fleeing horrific violence in their native countries, are being crammed into overcrowded Border Patrol jails and held for long periods with no access to family or to legal representation.

And our nation's response? Congress wants to take away children's right to a fair hearing. President Obama has asked for funds to deport the kids back to danger. Protesters have blocked and screamed epithets at buses of children.

At a moment like this, it worth remembering that Jesus fled King Herod's violence in his home country as a child -- without documentation. Christians cannot sit idly by while these innocents are sent back to be killed or forcefully recruited into violent street gangs.

Pope Francis has called the situation a "humanitarian emergency" requiring that these children be "welcomed and protected." We agree -- and we think it's time to show our leaders just how many Christians are outraged at this profound lack of basic human decency.

These children are not getting here by themselves. We have enough trouble with those that do.

The Pope can say all he wants, however for years the Fed's have been giving millions of dollars, or billions, to the Catholic non-profit organizations.  He's more supportive of a huge centralized government to "welcome and protect" rather than to ever defend the liberty for Americans.

Is Michael Sherrard assisting and/or accepting immigrants into his home?

How about this government deal - will this make 'em feel more welcome:

http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2014/07/feds-to-open-50-million-resort-hotel-for-illegal-children-complete-with-tennis-courts-sauna-pools/

I think Christians have been outraged long before this latest wave of "immigrants" ever arrived and I don't think that some religious guy like Sherrard or the Pope can speak for all Americans.

http://www.faithfulamerica.org/about/ (http://www.faithfulamerica.org/about/)

How many of these tattooed, finger flipping, gang member, illegal children has Pope Francis and the Vatican offered airline tickets to? So they can become residences of the ultra rich Vatican city.

How many meals for these hungry tattooed, finger flipping, gang member, illegal children has Pope Francis and the Vatican provided for them?

How much health care has Pope Francis and the Vatican paid for, for all these hungry, tattooed, finger flipping, gang member illegal children?

Talk is cheap --- actions cost lots of money ---- has Pope Francis and the Vatican opened up there vastly filled vaults to help these hungry tattooed, finger flipping, gang member, illegal children?

Just asking?

Has Pope Francis and the Vatican taken any actions beyond prayer to stop the slaughter of Christians in the Middle East?

Pope Francis and the Vatican have vast amounts of money and money is power, how is that money and power being used to stop the senseless slaughters of Christians in the Middle East?

Is it just, because, Pope Francis and the Vatican say do it, that we as a nation should take on the full responsibility and he and the Vatican sit back and judge what we as a nation should do?

Where do you get that Jesus was an illegal undocumented alien? I sure would like to read that passage in my bible? Using those exact words, illegal undocumented alien!

Who was documented in biblical times as to the meaning of the term today? Biblical passage please!

No, I won't accept someone's personal opinion or personal interpretation as to what something means in the bible.

I really don't understand this thinking and judgment by outsiders to our nation.

Some of those 18 and 19 and 20 something year old, tattooed, finger flipping, gang member, illegal children could possibly get registered to vote in time to vote Democrat in the November elections. That's a possible isn't it?

Who but the liberal democrat politicians would benefit more, especially at election time, especially in 2016?

Obama keeps inviting more and more illegals? Why?

Illegal immigrant kids exposed federal agents to
lice, scabies, tuberculosis and chicken pox,
report says

(I bet those agents took it home to their spouse and children, who took it to work and daycare and the mall etc and spread it around. Don't ya reckon? How do we know ebola isn't in there somewhere? What is all this gonna cost the legal American families and the taxpayers to fix?)

Unaccompanied illegal immigrant children with communicable diseases have given or exposed federal agents to lice, scabies, tuberculosis and chicken pox, according to a report issued Thursday by the Department of Homeland Security's Office of Inspector General.

(Unaccompanied illegal immigrant children are being refered to as UAC! Why? What happened to the I for Illegal? Shouldn't it be UIIC for Unaccompanied Illegal Immigrant Children?

What is wrong with the term ILLEGAL, are we dropping it from the english language for the so called political correctness freaks? Wouldn't that mean no one in prison performed any illegal act and should therefore be released? Come-on folks. Are  children above the law? If so why do we put our children in the equivalent of jail or even in prison sometimes? And You can bet the Fed's story has been watered down! Check out all of the Fed's lies for the last several years. )

In two cases, the children of a border patrol agent got chicken pox contracted from their parents' exposure to unaccompanied children with chicken pox, according to the report on conditions of detention centers and border facilities.

The report, the first in a series, is based on 87 unannounced visits to 63 detention centers being used to house unaccompanied alien children (UAC) in Texas, Arizona and California during July 1-16.

"Many UAC and family units require treatment for communicable diseases, including respiratory illnesses, tuberculosis, chicken pox, and scabies," said the memorandum summarizing the report.

California Democrat Governor in Mexico:
Give Us More Illegals to Take Care of
[/b]

July 30, 2014 By Todd Cefaratti

California remains a refuge for those who wish to come to America for the purpose of exploiting the state's generous welfare programs. Every year, illegal immigrants surge into Mexico as the starting point of their journey in America and many never leave, having found a hospitable political environment that will cater the illegal immigrant population.

Now, to make matters worse, as America struggles with the surge of illegals flooding into the U.S., California Democrat Governor Jerry Brown told a group of Mexican leaders to give his state more illegal immigrants.

While the rest of the country debates what to do with the illegals already here, Gov. Brown is welcoming even more.

"I would do everything I could to make sure California will do its part to shelter any young children that are in need of protection," Brown told Mexican leaders in Mexico on Tuesday.

"I would support additional shelters to deal with this particular immediate challenge we have," Brown continued.

The liberal narrative that has taken hold is that the recent surge of illegal immigrants is mainly children. In fact, the surge of illegals largely consists of teenagers and adults- many of whom, it is feared, have gang ties to the feared South and Central American gangs. (emphasis in this paragraph is mine)

Currently, the State of California is nearly $423 billion in debt. California has over 4 million citizens on food stamps and maintains a state government that not only all-but ensures cradle-to-grave welfare for those who are willing to work the system, but an incredibly redundant bureaucracy that is as costly as it is difficult to navigate.

Indeed, California can be seen as an example of what big government and big government spending can accomplish. Still, Democrats crusade to move closer and closer to this model of government on a national level.

MS-13 Actively Recruiting Illegal Alien Minors at U.S. Shelters

JULY 10, 2014

The nation's most violent street gangs—including Mara Salvatrucha—are actively recruiting new members at U.S. shelters housing illegal immigrant minors and they're using Red Cross phones to communicate, a Homeland Security source tells Judicial Watch.

JW has reported extensively on the crisis created by the sudden influx of mostly Central American minors that have crossed into the U.S. through the Mexican border in recent weeks. It has created havoc and will end up costing American taxpayers billions of dollars to house, process, medically treat, feed and inevitably educate the Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) which are being dispersed throughout the country. They are bringing in dangerous diseases—including swine flu, dengue fever, Ebola virus and tuberculosis— and occupying our military bases as shelters.

As if all this weren't bad enough, the invasion is also supplying the nation's most dangerous street gangs with new soldiers. The Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) and the 18th Street gangs are on a recruiting frenzy at the various facilities housing the newly arrived illegal aliens, according to JW's source. The MS-13 is a feared street gang of mostly Central American illegal immigrants that's spread throughout the U.S. and is renowned for drug distribution, murder, rape, robbery, home invasions, kidnappings, vandalism and other violent crimes. The Justice Department's National Gang Intelligence Center (NGIC) says criminal street gangs like the MS-13 are responsible for the majority of violent crimes in the U.S. and are the primary distributors of most illicit drugs.

The 18th Street gang is considered the largest organized gang in Los Angeles County with about 15,000 members that operate a number of criminal enterprises throughout the region. Last year ten of its leaders were indicted for running a large-scale methamphetamine and drug trafficking business in South Los Angeles. A local newspaper report about the case says 18th Street gang leaders deported from the U.S. in the 1990s helped spread the gang across Central America and into Mexico. It's not unreasonable to conclude that some of the members are among the tens of thousands of UACs that have entered the U.S. recently.

In fact, last month the president of the Tucson Border Patrol Union, veteran agent Art Del Cueto, confirmed to JW that the UACs are not all little kids as the media was largely reporting at that point. Many are in their late teens and have possible ties to gang members, Del Cueto said. After seeing the first few batches of UACs, Del Cueto immediately expressed concern that the illegal aliens would be relocated in the U.S. with family despite affiliations with criminal enterprises.

That makes this week's insider report of violent gangs openly recruiting UACs—with the help of phones provided by a well-known charity—all the more appalling. JW's inside source is on the ground and has received first-hand reports from federal agents at the scene. "MS-13 and 18th Street gangs are actively recruiting new members at our detention centers," the source confirms. "The new gang members then use the Red Cross phones to sign up."

The founding fathers put this union of states in motion and the Republicans changed it.
Roosevelt did nothing except to assist the Republican cause with his own socialist ideas that he borrowed from them.

Gentleness?  How about the defense of individual liberty and property rights?  Redistribution is not gentleness, it's government forcing us to contribute to the others' causes - foreign and domestic.

Try more taxation to care for rogue illegal aliens that are violating our laws.
They are violating our laws by crossing the border illegally!

So should we try a some gentleness for robbers, muggers, rapists and murderers that violate our laws?
Shall we have selective laws where a person can pick and chose what laws they violate?

If Obama wants all these illegal aliens why isn't he moving them all to Washington, D.C.?

or Gently send them home where they belong.

Action could protect 5M here illegally: Washington Post

(Newser)  – After rejecting a House-passed immigration bill, President Obama has pledged to act on the issue alone—and the Washington Post has the details of his thinking. Spurred in part by the huge influx of child immigrants from Central America, Obama is considering measures that could offer millions of undocumented immigrants the right to work, among other protections, the paper reports via sources communicating with the administration.

One plan could temporarily protect some five million of the 11 million undocumented immigrants currently in the country; it could apply to those who'd spent a set amount of time here or had close US relatives. The Post calls Obama's plan—which hasn't been finalized—potentially "explosive" ahead of November's elections, noting that it could help Democrats solidify their support among Hispanics. Said one activist who met with White House officials: "The conversation was about the need for the program to be as bold as possible."

However, we as human's frequently do not comprehend what is really happening!

Fer instance comprehending that King Obama is exploiting so called children that are from 14 to 40 years of age to get more votes from the hispanics.

We don't comprehend the movement of illegal aliens to various states who are carrying diseases such as Tuberculosis and worse.

We avoid calling them criminals fo violating our laws and do nothing, but let an American citizen make a small error and it is jail time or worse..

There is a lot more to the situation than people know.
The main stream media won't cover it.
Is it right to encourage people to violate our laws and they end up dead because of it?

EXCLUSIVE: 'A lot of people die out here' and 'all this blood...is on Obama's hands': Shocking images show corpses of illegal immigrants left to die after border crossings
•Rancher shares grotesque photos with MailOnline, saying Obama bears the blame for a rising death toll among illegal immigrants
•Volunteer patrol network in south Texas has found 259 bodies in one county alone, maybe 20 percent of the actual body count
•Border Patrol source concedes the agency has no idea how many are perishing between the border and official government checkpoints
•Filmmaker says he warned Congress in 2007 that children were becoming drug cartels' newest pawns on the border

http://www.redflagnews.com/headlines/hundreds-of-dead-border-crossers-in-single-texas-county-rancher-shares-grotesque-photos

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

The dead bodies of illegal immigrants are turning up in south Texas as Central Americans pour across the U.S.-Mexico border, and a veterinarian who ranches cattle 70 miles from ground zero has the photos to prove it.

Dr. Mike 'Doc' Vickers of Brooks County, Texas showed some of the grisly images to MailOnline, all of them far too grotesque to publish unedited.

One picture shows a corpse propped up against a tree near his ranch in Brooks County, his eyes missing and dried blood cascading down his shirtless body.

'This guy, obviously, had to lay down up against that tree, and that's where he died,' Vickers says in interview footage provided exclusively to MailOnline by documentary filmmaker Chris Burgard.

Falcons native to the Rio Grande river valley 'plucked his eyes out before he was dead,' the animal doctor concludes. 'He bled out through his eyes, which tells me that he was probably in a coma but they were eatin' on him before his heart stopped beating.'

Burgard is working on a sequel to his 2007 documentary, 'Border,' which made a splash on the film-festival circuit years before illegal immigration swelled to what President Barack Obama now concedes is a 'humanitarian crisis.'

When he filmed 'Border' in 2005, he said, 'we had to go out and find illegal traffic.'

'This time it found us.'

He screened his film on Capitol Hill back then, telling members of Congress that children were becoming pawns in Mexican drug cartels' smuggling operations into the U.S. homeland.

'I am not surprised to find immigrants dying 70 miles north of the border,' Burgard told MailOnline, but 'I am surprised that nine years later it is still a secret to most of the American people.'

'The Federal Government has long known about this,' he said, ticking off Texas and Arizona counties where human remains are continually turning up.

'Local officials who deal with collecting the bodies are so overwhelmed financially that the cost of coroner inquests on each case is dramatically affecting their budgets.'

Vickers, 64, told MailOnline on Wednesday that since 2012 his organization, the Texas Border Volunteers, has counted 259 dead bodies in his native Brooks County alone, including those of children.

'And we're probably only finding 20 per cent of them. A lot of people die out here.'

'We find a hell of a lot of women,' he said. 'Three of the last ones who have died on my ranch have been women. We found a dead 12-year-old boy on my neighbor's property.'

Some have the good fortune to find Vickers and his crew.

'We've rescued some small children, quite a few,' Vickers recalled. 'One boy, 11 years old, was left behind 8 or 9 miles off the highway. He had no idea where he was.' The border volunteers gave him water and arranged for U.S. Border Patrol agents to pick him up.

'I've seen families out in my front yard under a tree,' he said, 'with little bitty toddlers with them.'

The group of about 300 amateur patrolmen go out in teams of up to 40 armed men at a time for 4- to 5-day patrols, reporting to Border Patrol agents and Texas Rangers on where the immigrant traffic is heaviest.

In nine years of scouring south Texas, no shots have been fired.

The closest U.S. Border Patrol station, at Falfurrias, Texas, is about 4-1/2 miles from Vickers' 1,000-acre ranch.

An official in the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency confirmed that in the month of June more than 4,000 illegal immigrants were apprehended at or near that checkpoint.

About 82 per cent of them were so-called 'OTM' border crossers – 'Other Than Mexican.'

More than 400 were children.

The federal government doesn't keep statistics on how many dead immigrants' bodies are recovered, the DHS official told MailOnline.

Women and children: The Texas Border Volunteers group regularly rescues border crossers who walk to the point of dehydrated exhaustion, and some turn up on their doorsteps
Women and children: The Texas Border Volunteers group regularly rescues border crossers who walk to the point of dehydrated exhaustion, and some turn up on their doorsteps

He conceded to MailOnline that 'we don't know how many people are dying without reaching us, just like we don't know how many people are making it past the checkpoint without being detected.'

Most come from Central America and pay human traffickers known as 'coyotes' between $5,000 and $8,000 each to be smuggled into the United States.

Many don't make it alive.

'The fact is, they're all homicides,' Vickers said. 'These people pay coyotes who are affiliated with drug cartels big money to be brought here and dropped off at the checkpoint. And they go through our private property to avoid detection.'

'And the coyotes, a lot of times, by the time they get to the checkpoint, or even north of the checkpoint, run off and leave them. And you know, they'll point at a light up north, one of those radio towers, and say, "Just keep walking toward that tower. Houston's 20 minutes away".'

Houston is a 280-mile drive from Falfurrias.

'They've already duped them of their money,' he explained. 'And then some days later they're still walking around in circles up here with no water. And you know, a lot of them die.'

'A lot of coyotes don't leave them, but they put them on a fast pace. We're talking 3 to 4 miles per hour, through all this deep sand and all this brush, and real, real treacherous terrain. And if they can't keep up, they'll beat on them a little bit and tell them, "We're just going to leave you here to die." And they do.'

Vickers, a small-time cattle rancher who spends most of his days as a veterinarian caring for his neighbors' livestock, will play a significant role in Burgard's next movie.

In the filmmaker's footage, Vickers shows a photo he took of a gang-tattooed drug runner who was dehydrated when the Texas Border Volunteers stumbled onto him, near the point of death from heat exhaustion.

'We actually saved this guy's life,' he said.

'After we got the "pistolero" treated, we went another 300 yards and found this guy,' he says, pointing to a picture of a badly decomposed corpse. 'He wasn't so lucky.'

Burgard also saw an Urdu-to-English dictionary that Vickers picked up near his ranch, dropped by 'a coyote leading a group of Middle Easterners into our country.'

And Chinese immigrants, paying up to $50,000 each to be smuggled into Ecuador and then into the United States, are now numerous enough that the federal government has added Mandarin translations to signs at emergency stations dotting the Texas border region.

But it's those 'OTM' aliens, especially the hundreds of unaccompanied minors crossing every day along the length of the U.S.-Mexico border, who have turned illegal immigration into relentless front-page news.

The flow is 'four times what it was in 2011. A four-fold increase,' says Vickers.

He agrees with Republicans in Congress who point fingers of blame at President Obama, who declared in 2012 that the federal government would no longer pursue illegal immigrants who were brought to the U.S. as children before 2007.

He also championed a bill called the DREAM Act – failed legislation that aimed to offer those immigrants permanent residency if they graduated from high school.

'When Obama started talking about the DREAM Act, and this and that about the DREAMers, I mean it was like, overnight we started seeing hordes of these teenagers coming in from Central America,' Vickers told MailOnline. 'I've got pictures of them.'

'I mean, big groups – 20, 30, 40 at a time. We were encountering them and getting Border Patrol to pick them up. And right off the bat they'd tell us, "Hey, we're going to be able to go free. Mr. Obama is going to let us stay. He said we could come.'

'He started talking about the DREAM Act and all of that stuff in 2012,' the veterinarian said, 'and here they come.'

Burgard showed MailOnline a brief interview with an illegal immigrant, an 18-ish young man from Tequila, Mexico who said he had paid a coyote $5,700 for safe passage to the U.S.

Asked if Obama is communicating to people south of the border 'that it is possible to find work in the United States,' he chewed his gum and replied, 'Uh-huh.'

Burgard also claimed transnational drug traffickers 'are taking big time advantage' of Obama's 2012 mini-amnesty. 'They have been planning for this for the last two years.'

The deluge of unaccompanied minors, he said, have occupied so much of the federal government's resources near the U.S.-Mexico border – allowing for only sparse apprehension of gun and narcotics smugglers.

'Before the tidal wave of women and children hit the border,' he told MailOnline, 'cartels say they were getting about 50 per cent of their personnel across. Since Border Patrol has been hit with this wave of human shields, cartels are now claiming to get up to 90 per cent of their people across.'

Burgard also showed MailOnline exclusive interview footage with a 27-year veteran of the U.S. Border Patrol who left his job because of the changing conditions on the ground.

'I retired early because I was told I had to release a group of criminals because they may be DREAM Act people,' the agent says, his face shielded because he feared reprisals.

'I just could not see releasing these people who were convicted of crimes back into American society. I voiced my opinion. I was told basically to just shut up and do what I was told.'

Two members of the Texas congressional delegation, both Republicans, reacted with anger when MailOnline showed them a set of five photos of dead border-crossers.

'How many precious lives must be needlessly lost, women raped, girls forced into sex trafficking or people trapped into the drug trade before the Obama administration stops luring them here with continued grants of amnesty, legal status, work permits, and benefits?' asked Rep. Louie Gohmert.

'Democrats don't care that Obama's rhetoric is getting people killed,' Rep. Steve Stockman added.

'They come here specifically because they believe Obama will give them amnesty. Democrats are willing to let illegals risk their lives just so Democrats can have a wedge issue to agitate their liberal base before an election.'

Rep. Rubén Hinojosa, the Democrat who represents Brooks County, told MailOnline that illegal immigrant deaths in Brooks County are 'a stain on the American way.'

'I say this because so many lives could have been saved if we had a Comprehensive Immigration Bill in place,' he added.

Hinojosa didn't say how passing legislation favored by the White House would save lives, but insisted that 'better immigration laws for our country' would 'hopefully prevent migrant deaths.'

He said relatives of the dead have visited his office. 'I have heard their painful stories of not knowing what happened to their loved ones, and my heart aches for them.'

'My office has worked with Brooks County officials on trying to find federal funding to help them identify and bury the dead.'

Vickers said no local or county government in his part of Texas has received any federal reimbursement for those costs. And he's not impressed with how his congressman is responding.

Hinojosa 'wants open borders,' he said. 'He tells his constituents that "I'm going to do whatever my president tells me to do." Not what his constituents want him to do.'

For the mild-mannered vet, the buck stops in the Oval Office.

'All this blood we see out here is on Obama's hands.'

There is nothing cold hearted about US citizens wanting to return illegal immigrants to their home country's because it would more than likely stop the deaths of people attemptig to do the same thing.

US reportedly dispatched
Latin Americans to foment
Cuba political change

WASHINGTON –  An Obama administration program secretly dispatched young Latin Americans to Cuba using the cover of health and civic programs to provoke political change, a clandestine operation that put those foreigners in danger even after a U.S. contractor was hauled away to a Cuban jail.

Beginning as early as October 2009, a project overseen by the U.S. Agency for International Development sent Venezuelan, Costa Rican and Peruvian young people to Cuba in hopes of ginning up rebellion. The travelers worked undercover, often posing as tourists, and traveled around the island scouting for people they could turn into political activists.

In one case, the workers formed an HIV-prevention workshop that memos called "the perfect excuse" for the program's political goals -- a gambit that could undermine America's efforts to improve health globally.

But their efforts were fraught with incompetence and risk, an Associated Press investigation found: Cuban authorities questioned who was bankrolling the travelers. The young workers nearly blew their mission to "identify potential social-change actors." One said he got a paltry, 30-minute seminar on how to evade Cuban intelligence, and there appeared to be no safety net for the inexperienced workers if they were caught.

"Although there is never total certainty, trust that the authorities will not try to harm you physically, only frighten you," read a memo obtained by the AP. "Remember that the Cuban government prefers to avoid negative media reports abroad, so a beaten foreigner is not convenient for them."

In all, nearly a dozen Latin Americans served in the program in Cuba, for pay as low as $5.41 an hour.

The AP found USAID and its contractor, Creative Associates International, continued the program even as U.S. officials privately told their government contractors to consider suspending travel to Cuba after the arrest of contractor Alan Gross, who remains imprisoned after smuggling in sensitive technology.

"We value your safety," one senior USAID official said in an email. "The guidance applies to ALL travelers to the island, not just American citizens," another official said.

The revelations of the USAID program come as the White House faces questions about the once-secret "Cuban Twitter" project, known as ZunZuneo. That program, launched by USAID in 2009 and uncovered by the AP in April, established a primitive social media network under the noses of Cuban officials. USAID's inspector general is investigating that program, which ended in September, 2012.

Officials said USAID launched "discreet" programs like ZunZuneo to increase the flow of information in a country that heavily restricts it. But the AP's earlier investigation found ZunZuneo was political in nature and drew in subscribers unaware that the service was paid for by the U.S. government.

"USAID and the Obama administration are committed to supporting the Cuban people's desire to freely determine their own future," the agency said in response to written questions from the AP. "USAID works with independent youth groups in Cuba on community service projects, public health, the arts and other opportunities to engage publicly, consistent with democracy programs worldwide."

In a statement late Sunday, USAID said the HIV workshop had a dual purpose: It "enabled support for Cuban civil society while providing a secondary benefit of addressing the desire Cubans expressed for information and training about HIV prevention."

Creative Associates declined to comment, referring questions to USAID.

Both ZunZuneo and the travelers program were part of a larger, multimillion-dollar effort by USAID to effect change in politically volatile countries, government data show. But the programs reviewed by the AP didn't appear to achieve their goals and operated under an agency known more for its international-aid work than stealthy operations. The CIA recently pledged to stop using vaccine programs to gather intelligence, such as one in Pakistan that targeted Osama bin Laden.

The travelers program was launched when newly inaugurated President Barack Obama's administration was talking about a "new beginning" with Cuba after decades of mistrust, raising questions about whether the White House had a coherent policy toward the island nation.

Drawing on documents and interviews worldwide, the AP found the travelers program went to extensive lengths to hide the workers' activities. They were to communicate in code: "I have a headache" meant they suspected they were being monitored by Cuban authorities; "Your sister is ill" was an order to cut their trip short.

"We worked it so that the government here didn't know we were traveling to Cuba and helping these groups," said Yajaira Andrade, a former administrator with a Venezuelan organization. "Because that was when (President Hugo) Chavez was in power, and if he had known about us -- that some Venezuelans were working to stir rebellion -- we would have been thrown in jail."

To evade Cuban authorities, travelers installed innocent-looking content on their laptops to mask sensitive information they were carrying. They also used encrypted memory sticks to hide their files and sent obviously encrypted emails using a system that might have drawn suspicion.

It is illegal in Cuba to work with foreign democracy-building programs. Nevertheless, one contract was signed days after Gross' detention.

"They arrested a contractor from another agency. That could be dangerous," one Skype message between two project workers would later read. "Thank God he's not one of ours."

Documents show Creative Associates approved the use of the travelers' relatives to carry cash to the Cuban contacts. But the family members weren't to be told that the funds were from the U.S. government.

Hector Baranda, who was a college student in Cuba when he was befriended by a group of traveling Venezuelans, said he was surprised to hear from the AP they were working for the U.S. government and had profiled him.

"How would you feel if you offered your sincere friendship and received this kind of news?" Baranda asked.

The travelers' project was paid for under the same pot of federal money that paid for the ZunZuneo program. But USAID has yet to provide the AP with a complete copy of the Cuban contracts under a Freedom of Information Act request filed more than three months ago.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, who was in office during the program and is a likely Democratic presidential candidate in 2016, said in her new book "Hard Choices" that she was pleased "to see change slowly creeping into the country."

From a friend: If we start to see or notice something frequently, we must always ask ourselves if we're consciously or subconsciously looking for it. Sometimes we see things that aren't really there because we're looking for them. Other times, we turn a blind eye to something that's always been there because we don't want to see it- Neither is usually good. Wisdom comes from awareness and balance.

This appears to be boh an NGO and our Government plan for smugling across the border!
If you don't smuggle Jihad and Alquida into the US,
how can the US Government take credit for

Anything is possible, isn't it?
The Obama Administration smuggled guns south across the border, didn't they?

MEDIA BLACKOUT: Record Number Of Illegals From
Syria, Pakistan And Afghanistan
Being Caught At Border

Texas Governor Rick Perry said a record number of illegal immigrants from Syria, Pakistan and Afghanistan have been apprehended at the U.S.-Mexico border.

On Sunday's State of the Union on CNN, Perry said the "historic record highs" of individuals from "countries that have substantial terrorist ties" threaten America's national security.

Later on the program, Rep. Mike McCaul (R-TX), the House Homeland Security Committee Chair, said Iranian terrorists have had plans to sneak across the border. He also said that others who want to do harm are seeking to exploit America's porous border.

Perry also said that since 2008, 203,000 illegal immigrants have been put in Texas' jails, and those illegal immigrants "have been responsible for 3,000 homicides and almost 8,000 sexual assaults."

"I wish the President would respect that desire of Texans and the citizens of this country to secure the border," Perry said. "That's the real issue here—and one that all too often gets deflected by the conversation about unaccompanied minor children."

Illegals Hail from Countries with Ebola Outbreaks, Terror Ties

Illegal immigrants from more than 75 countries are attempting to enter the United States, including some from countries with outbreaks of the Ebola virus and others from terrorist hotbeds.

According to an intelligence report from the Customs and Border Protection agency obtained by Breitbart Texas, most of the human smuggling from Syria and Albania into the United States comes through Central America, and there is also an increasing number of border apprehensions of people from nations suffering from Ebola outbreaks.

In total, 71 people from three countries affected by the current Ebola outbreak have either turned themselves in or been caught attempting to enter the U.S. illegally between January 2014 and July 2014, the report said, according to Breitbart, some of which are at other points of entry than the southern border.

Meanwhile, Texas Gov. Rick Perry insisted in an interview on CNN's "State of the Union" on Sunday that his state is seeing "historic record highs" of people being apprehended from countries "that have substantial terrorist ties," including Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Syria.

"I'm the governor of the state of Texas," Perry said. "My citizens' safety is what is foremost here, and it hasn't got anything to do with anything other than those numbers of individuals who are coming across the border.

"And when you think about the idea that some of them are from countries that have substantial terrorist ties, whether it's Pakistan or Afghanistan or Syria, we are at historic record highs with individuals being apprehended from those countries."

Politicfact.com has said that it has not been able to substantiate similar statements Perry and others have made in the past. It said it has not been able to find any figures showing that U.S. has seen a surge in the number of people apprehended from countries on the State Department's list of state sponsors of terrorism or terrorist safe havens, and has called the claims "not accurate" and "ridiculous."

Nevertheless, the report obtained by Breitbart found that 28 people from Pakistan were caught attempting to enter the United States this year alone, with an additional 211 that either turned themselves in or were caught at official ports of entry.

In addition, four people from Yemen were caught by border agents in 2014, and an additional 34 turned themselves in or were caught trying to sneak through official ports of entry.

And four people from Somalia, another country known for being a source of Islamic terrorist activity, were caught trying to get past border patrol agents this year, while an additional 290 either turned themselves in or were caught attempting to illegally pass through official ports of entry, Breitbart reported.

Welcome Ebola !
Welcome Terrorist !

Compliments of Barack Obama !
You illegals be sure to drop by his home in Washington, DC and thank him.

Instead of sending Homeland Security to defend our border, he sends them to a legal citizens home to confiscate their vehicle that may fail to comply with EPA regulations.

If Ebola or a Terrorist shows up in your neighbor great them graciously and be sure to thank Barack Obama.

Oh, Don't forget Tuberculosis and other diseases you have never heard of.

Just say.
Good job Barrack!

If you get taxed more to take care of the illegals, just say Good job Barrack!

If your friend or family member loses his or her job to an illegal, just say Thank you and Good job Barrack!

A few Children being exploited to provide open passage at our borders, that's okay, just say Thank you and Good job Barrack!

Forget it, let's think positive and ignore Barracks negative moves.
Let's be positive like Elk Konnected.
Let smile and be happy and positive!
No stress that way.

Re-elect Barrack for more positive importation of illegals.

INVASION USA

Australia has zero illegals coming in: Here's how

Exclusive: Nick Adams explains that in 1 year, new leader ended aliens' boat trips

Australia had a problem with illegal immigration.

It doesn't anymore.

In the past seven months, not one single illegal immigrant arrived on Australian shores. Not one single boat has docked on the Australian coastline.

Compare this to the preceding four year period: Over 50,000 illegal immigrants arrived on Australian shores. More than 800 boats. Upwards of 1,000 people drowned at sea. A budget blowout of more than $10.3 billion.

Those that arrived were given welcome hampers, mobile phones, plasma TVs, housing, medical and other household items — all at a cost to the taxpayer.

And the overwhelming majority of those that came were not genuine refugees; many of them turned up in designer clothes and with mobile phones. They weren't fleeing persecution; they just wanted a piece of Australia's generous welfare state.

Frighteningly, some of them appeared to be Western haters, with one incident captured on video: One illegal immigrant, upset to have been intercepted by the Australian military, told the military to ""F–- Australia. ... If later on you said why they do that to America on September 11, you should know the cause of it is your very deeds. Remember 9/11 for United States. All the world should know why."

It was a mess.

It happened because a center-left government (the equivalent of the Democrats), elected in late 2007, decided to dismantle the existing tough and effective border security policy. They made the usual self-righteous left-wing claims that the existing policies were inhumane, immoral and sent the wrong message. While never brave enough to say it, their actions said it all: They believed in open borders.

And so they presided over more than 1,000 deaths at sea and were a boon to the evil people-smugglers all over Southeast Asia. Not only did their policy fail; it killed people.

Nick Adams' brand new book, "The American Boomerang: How The World's Greatest Turnaround Nation Will Do It Again," is endorsed by the likes of Dr. Ben Carson, Glenn Beck, Dick Morris, Gov. Mike Huckabee and Dennis Prager

The Australian people silently revolted. They saw them, rightly, as "queue-jumpers" and believed it was unfair to genuine refugees (Australia already has a generous refugee intake) and those seeking to come the right way. They were devastated at the deaths of men, women and children on the high seas, who had been encouraged to take the perilous journey. And they were concerned about how much money this fiasco was costing. Not to mention the fact we didn't know who these people were. Were they compatible with our way of life?

So, they threw out the government at the national election in September 2013. One of the incoming government's core election promises was to "stop the boats." Immediately, Prime Minister Tony Abbott got to work.

As he couldn't stop the boats overnight, in those first few months, his government gave the illegal immigrants arriving to Australia two options: "You've arrived in Australia illegally. As a result, you will never get to stay here. You will never get to be an Australian. So, you have two options – we will take you to a processing center, and you will wait in detention for your asylum application to be processed. Or we will fly you home for free."

In addition to this, the Abbott government got the Australian military to enforce its border protection, intercepting boats, turning them around, and even towing them back. And it applied pressure on Indonesia, by demanding it secure its own border.

Soon, the message got out, and the boats have stopped. It's an ongoing issue that requires vigilance, but it has been achieved. Australia's policy has been exceptionally effective in saving lives. It's been done amid incessant howling from the left and the mainstream media.

The successful Australian model is one America must learn from. It shows what can happen when you develop a policy and adhere to it strictly, with no exceptions.

Instead of praising Australia on gun laws, President Obama should be praising Australia's border security.

Obama needs to toughen up. He needs to begin dispensing leadership, here and abroad. He needs to say: "We will determine who comes into this country, and the circumstances under which they come." He needs to say: "If you come to America illegally, you will never ever get to stay. You will never be an American. We will send you home. Period." Illegals should be aware that they will have risked plenty and spent a lot for zero result. He needs to get the National Guard down there to do its job. He needs to demand that Mexico police its own border, and if not, threaten them with trade sanctions.

That's real leadership.

What can be more humanitarian than saving the thousands of people's lives who die crossing the border? What can be more humanitarian than ensuring the safety of 300 million Americans?

Populations are on the move. Western countries' borders are under attack everywhere. Time for honesty from the left: how many millions do we really want, and how will they change this country?

The illegals are being clever now sending their children. This is happening all around the world. It does not matter what their age; send them back. It's time to administer tough love.

It's the only way. Australia has proved it. Now, it's time for America, the world's leader and indispensable nation, to do the same.

Not sure I understand why people are reluctant to post a new topic.  Oh wait... is it because they feel like they are being attacked for their opinion?  Or they don't like what another person has to say?  Tired of the same people posting the same rhetoric? Goodness life would be boring if we all got along and agreed on everything, wouldn't it.  That is what makes this country so great.  We can disagree and still have a good conversation.  Unfortunately, this medium sucks for getting across a point without people taking it the wrong way.  Therefore I always say.... before you jump to a conclusion that in your opinion I am a radical or way off the mark .... please approach me and ask me personally what I think and I bet that at the end of the conversation, we will come to the conclusion that we are not that much different.

And yes, Ross would be awesome at filibustering and would probably drive the opposition insane.... hmmmm...things to think on.

When I read that people should be kind to illegal immigrants I think there is some seriously illogical thinking going on.

And I simply want to provide real world information about the situation.

They call the illegal aliens children --- that in no way clears them of breaking the laws of our coutry.
There are thousands and thousands of them and I have not seen but a very few pictures of what a child truely is.

Who wll tell these cjildren to be kind, they are demanding all sorts of freebies! How gracious of them to demand or to take by force. They had no idea they were attacking a Border Patrol person, just think you could be next or your grandchild could be next. What then? This is not speciffically aimed at any one person.

Javier Vega was innocently fishing with his family in Willacy County, Texas when two individuals approached them in a robbery attempt. The suspects opened fire on the Vega family after they noticed Vega's gun holstered on his hip. The 30-year old Vega, who was off-duty from his job as a Border Patrol Agent, and his father proceeded to fire back. Vega was shot in the chest and later died.

And our Government wants to disarm us,
really
while illegal's are armed?

A Governor's Dilemma:
Illegal Immigrants Divert Resources From
State's Own Citizens

(Look at all those illegal children from 8 to 40+. my note)

Commentary By
(http://dailysignal.com/wp-content/uploads/Governor-Mary-Fallin.jpg)
Gov. Mary Fallin

On June 13, the first bus of illegal immigrant minors, aged 12-17, arrived at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. The state of Oklahoma was given no formal notice, and no chance to object.

After weeks of bad publicity, public outrage and political pressure, the Obama administration announced this week that the facility will close by Friday, Aug. 8.

That's good news for the people of Oklahoma and the men and women of Fort Sill, who will once again have the full use of their military base for the purpose it was designed for: housing and training soldiers.

What the facility's closure does not mean is an end to the ongoing border crisis, or an end to a broken immigration system that encourages men, women and children to break our laws.

Oklahomans are not equipped to solve problems in El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala.

The Fort Sill facility may be closed, but there is no guarantee it will not reopen in the future. In fact, the federal government extended their lease into January of next year, preserving the option to once again house illegal immigrants there.

Perhaps even more important is what happens to the children who leave Fort Sill, and the message that we are sending to the rest of the world.

Children housed at Fort Sill and facilities like it have been placed in communities across Oklahoma and across the country with "sponsors." These sponsors may or may not be family members, and they may or may not be illegal immigrants themselves. Federal officials tell us the sponsors have instructions to bring these children to a future court date for possible deportation. The wait for a court hearing is over a year in Oklahoma. Only about half of these children show up when their court date arrives.

What happens to the rest? They simply disappear. They are absorbed into our public school systems, which are already at capacity and struggling to find the funding and resources required to give our Oklahoma children the education they need and deserve.

Eventually, these children become undocumented adults. Many work; some do not. Some end up in our hospitals or using other state resources where Oklahomans foot the bill.

These children are not bad people. They have been sent by their parents or other adults to make a long and dangerous journey to the United States because they have been lead to believe that our country will provide for them.

It is a dream stoked by President Obama, who continues to push amnesty and open borders whenever and wherever he can, by any means at his disposal.

I too want to help these children, and I certainly think they should be treated humanely and with dignity for the short time they stay in the U.S. I want them to live better lives. But, as governor, I have been entrusted with another responsibility: to help children right here in Oklahoma.

One in four Oklahoma children struggle with hunger. One in four will drop out of high school before graduating.

There are poor children in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Guymon and McAlester. They need our attention and our help. There are children who will grow up being abused, being lead into drugs, who struggle with poverty, or who will be recruited by violent gangs right here in our home state.

It is wrong for the president to ask Oklahomans to divert their attention and limited resources away from our own children, just as it is wrong for him to ask our military to play host to a large daycare facility for undocumented minors. Oklahomans are not equipped to solve problems in El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala, just as we are not equipped to end conflicts or suffering in the Ukraine or Libya.

Oklahomans must get back to the business of helping our own children: providing them with a world class education; protecting them from abuse; and ensuring they are healthy and happy and have a bright future ahead of them.

My note the following were side bars to the article:

Oklahomans are not equipped to solve problems in El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala.

President Obama continues to push amnesty and open borders whenever and wherever he can.

Please remember this is a Governor and she has to be very careful and politically correct in what she says.
If all these so called children were sent to Washington, D.C by each of the states that have them you can bet there would be plane after plane loaded with illegal aliens being deported. That's my opinion and I am staying with it. Those politicians would not want the expense in Washington, DC you can bet o that or they would all be up there right now.

It's simple their people or our people?
It's simple do we only enforce laws that we want to enforce or do we enforce all of them?
Which is it?

It would be much cheaper for VA to buy all of them tickets to Washington, DC!
What do you think those people in DC might do then?
Oh and please notice as the article moves on they are refered to as minors - not children.
Think what would something like this do to Elk County and the several School Districts in Elk County?
What size classes would the teachers then have?
What would this do to your property taxes?
How would this affect your childs education?
Just some things to think about?

Feds, state to VA schools: Law says educate undocumented children

By Kathryn Watson  /   August 6, 2014  /

UNDOCUMENTED STUDENTS: The feds and
state are reminding local school districts that
they have to educate illegal immigrant students
who have come over the border like they would
any legal citizens, something that will likely cost
millions of dollars.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — With less than a month until school starts in September, Virginia taxpayers will be footing the bill for some of the thousands of undocumented school-age children who have come here in recent months.

The Virginia Department of Education is echoing the U.S. Department of Justice and U.S. Department of Education in saying that schools "may not deny a free public education to undocumented school-age children who reside within their jurisdiction because they do not hold valid United States citizenship or a student visa."

Back to school just got more expensive in Virginia, Katie Watson explains.

Last month, the VDOE sent memos to school superintendents reiterating the Supreme Court ruling in Plyler v. Doe, which said children have equal access to basic education, regardless of citizenship status.

And on Tuesday morning, the VDOE clarified in another email to school superintendents that undocumented minors, if unaccompanied and unsupervised, should be treated as homeless students and thus, granted an education without requiring proof of residing in the district.

"While a case-by-case review of each child's circumstances upon enrolling in a Virginia public school is necessary, many of these unaccompanied children will be deemed homeless under applicable state and federal law," reads an email to school superintendents from VDOE's Juanita McHale on behalf of VDOE Superintendent Steven Staples. "School divisions must immediately enroll homeless students, even if those students are unable to produce the records required for enrollment."

Those emails were sparked by an inquiry from one school division in southwest Virginia, according to Charles Pyle, director of communications for the VDOE. Pyle said he wasn't sure which school division asked for clarification.

While some children may enroll in Virginia's school systems unaccompanied, many others will enroll after being united with relatives.

From Jan. 1 to July 7, the federal government has placed 2,234 undocumented minors with a sponsor — generally, a relative — in Virginia.

The state spends about $10,500 per pupil, and illegal immigrant students are no exception.

Last week on a radio program, a listener asked Gov. Terry McAuliffe how he planned to address the immigration issue in terms of jobs and schools. But the governor didn't directly answer the question, dubbing it a federal issue and saying, Virginia "doesn't have a problem."

Sorry, folks. I won't be posting on this thread again. I had simply wanted a place with a more gentle, kinder view of the world.

I feel the thread has returned to the bullying and in-your-face posting found throughout the forum, not at all ready for "another take on events."

Apparently you prefer fantasy over reality.
My apologies for the rude awakening to the real world.
How many illegal adolescents wll you adopt and provide all that gentler life?
How about all those christians that islamist extremist wish to murder and decapitate.
Real world stuff!
Just like the bombs dropped to Iraq today.
Or the civilians used as human shields in Gaza.

Everything should be kind and gentle but it is not.

We can't just make light of unlawful acts can we?

And that is not my fault, it is reality wake up!.

A cop causes the death of an infant in New York by jerking the mother violently because he is a cop and causes the baby to fall to the pavement killing the baby. Gentle --- not! Is it illegal?

Drug dealers selling drugs to children, if it's your grandchild, is that gentle. Or illegal.

Ilegal is illegal and when you make exceptions, you allow for corruption and more illegal.

If you want gentle choose dolls and doll houses.

Carry on.

The moderator of the Politics section would need to do that service.  I agree...This is the Elk County Forum, not "The Ross Blog".  However, as we would be emphatically and resoundingly reminded, ad nauseum, there is that freedom of speech thing that Ross has...Whether or not that freedom is used in good taste or abused is up to the reader.  When that freedom of his impinges upon the ability of others to feel welcome on a thread that they, themselves, started...I believe he has crossed the line into abuse.  And yes...I have that same freedom of speech thing.  So, let the multitudinous postings from Ross begin.  I have no doubt that my daring to speak my mind, in defense of mom, will spawn diatribe deluxe.  Sorry for that, folks.   ::)

Looks like you ought to post more instead of coming around only when you think you have some sort of opportunity to take a shot a Ross.  You're known to side with the socialist scheming of Elk Konnected.

If you liberals had your way, you'd socialize this forum and it doesn't look like you'll ever make that happen either.

;D Awwww, Diane...You wouldn't begrudge the peanut gallery the opportunity to attempt to bully their way to dominance, would you?  After all, those individuals with real anti-social tendencies believe that the rules apply to everyone else BUT them.  They don't have any problems...It's the REST of the world that has a problem, especially when there are opposing views present (try going down a list of narcissistic indicators and you will be able to check off almost all of them in quick succession).  Luckily, the 'ignore' option works.  Quite well.  Evidently there was a comment made about the fact that I only post when it's time to slam Ross.  Hmmmmmmmm.  Methinks that whomever wrote that doesn't read me very regularly or they'd realize that I've posted plenty in other places, as well.  Must be nice to be soooo self-riteousness that you don't hesitate to spew verbal diarrhea at whomever is unlucky enough to be your target at the time.  This time, it just happens to be me, evidently.  Let someone else be unwise enough to post what they actually think, let it not jive with the bullies' opinions and they will become the newest target.  It won't take long.  ::)

Short on Christian attitude? That's very Christian of you to judge. I didn't realize you were so perfect, not that you've said you are outright, but it comes across very strongly in your posts. You have a God-like complex. The first sentence I have quoted from you is interesting. The same can be said for you and your crew. You all certainly don't want ANYONE to oppose your views. And as for not accepting election results, YOU don't LIVE in Elk County or District 1. You don't know the pressures of life in Elk County. We haven't quite ever accepted Barack Obama winning his re-election either. That's OUR prerogative.

Bully their way to dominance? Seriously? Self-RIGHTEOUS? Really? Catwoman, your post says what you think about EVERYONE with the one sentence: "Let someone else be unwise enough to post what they actually think, let it not jive with the bullies' opinions and they will become the newest target." So, when Ross starting posting what he thinks years ago and his posts didn't JIVE with the bullies' opinions, HE became THEIR newest target. Right? It is ok for you and your bullies, er, buddies to bully people and bitch about their opinions as long as their opinions have nothing to do with you or don't disagree with yours. That's what I've noticed after reading a few of your posts.

How is it someone from the east coast and someone from Wichita think they can dictate what we here in Elk County, Kansas put up with? Unless you live here, you have no say in any election dealing with this county. Your unwarranted arguments on who we should vote for in our county are invalid.

Boy, you really put me in my place, didn't you? How dare you! MY IGNORANCE? I have read this forum for YEARS. One doesn't have to have an account to read what is here. I was a guest. Then I made an account at the beginning of last year. I still just usually sit back and read. My Grandmother reads this forum as a guest with no account. Is she ignorant as well? I know the "history surrounding your comments" quite well. I have read from page one of the Elk Konnected thread. For the most part, I agree with Ross. And although I don't think I've ever met up with him, he makes sense and we'd probably get along. But, I hardly call myself one of his "devotees".

You must have left a lot of your heart behind, because it fails to come across in your posts. Slamming the Raven with no justification proves what you say.

You are late to this party...And, as such, are not aware of the history surrounding the comments that I made.  Believe me when I say that this Forum used to have an entirely different tone.  A great many former members have fallen away, due to the constant barrage from certain individuals that have risen to prominence.  Your ignorance of that history is why I will not give you any other response than the one I have listed.  [/quote]

Believe me she is full of it! She apparently has not checked the forums stats.

Please try to say something intelligent.

This is simply the way you apparently express everything, only as you wants to see it.
There is some more of your assumption and very wrong of you to suggest that the Raven is ignorant of anything. Just your form of bullying and showing a lack of the ability to think before slamming someone. I sorry to have to say it,  but  your edumaction is not showing here.

I don't know who you think you are to say who is late to the party!
So get real. Come into reality. You have no idea how much of the forum he or she has read.

I am not a liberal and I don't belong to or have any devotees or any organizations like
Elk Konnected
to back me. I do not believe, I have even communicated directly with the Raven. Also, I have no idea who the Raven really is.  So really who has the nonsense going on on this thread, please check the mirror.

I really don't need to post this as I was notified a new post was made while hitting post. So I read the most recent post from Rave and I say great post Raven. Even though Raven is intellegent enough to know he or she doesn't need my approval.

I am still going to post this because of a few of my other remarks.
And once again, Thank God you don't own this forum Catwoman.

Perhaps you might think of starting your own liberal forum and invite people to bad mouth just whoever they want to bad mouth. No intellegence required.

I hope you have had a geat weekend. Good night!

A beautiful fairy appeared one day to a destitute Mexican refugee outside an Arizona Immigration office.

"Good man," the fairy said, "I've been sent here by President Obama and told to grant you 3 wishes, since you just arrived in
the United States with your wife and eight children."

The man told the fairy, "Well, where I come from we don't have good teeth, so I want new teeth, maybe a lot of gold in them."

The fairy looked at the man's almost toothless grin and – PING! – he had a brand new shining set of gold teeth in his mouth!

"What else?" asked the fairy, "Two more to go."

The refugee claimant now got bolder.  "I need a big house with a three-car garage in Annapolis on the water with eight bedrooms for my family and the rest of my relatives who still live in my country. I want to bring them all over here" -- and -- PING! -- in the distance there could be seen a beautiful mansion with a three-car garage, a long driveway, and a walkout patio with a BBQ, in an upscale neighborhood overlooking the bay.

"One more wish," said the fairy, waving her wand.

"Yes, one more wish. I want to be like an American with American clothes instead of these torn clothes, and a baseball cap
instead of this sombrero. And I want to have white skin like Americans" -- and -- PING ! -- The man was transformed – wearing worn-out jeans, a Baltimore Orioles T-shirt, and a baseball cap.  He had his bad teeth back and the mansion had disappeared from the horizon.

"What happened to my new teeth?" he wailed. "Where is my new house?"

THIS IS GOOD . . . . . . . .

NO, ACTUALLY THIS IS VERY GOOD  . . . . . . .                      The fairy said: "Tough Amigo, now that you are a white American, you have to fend for yourself."

"IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM"

WRITTEN BY A 21 YEAR OLD FEMALE.

Wow, this girl has a great plan! Love the last thing she would do the best.

This was written by a 21 yr. old female who really gets it. It's her future she's worried about and this is how she feels about the social welfare, big government state that she's being forced to live in! These solutions are just common sense in her opinion.

This was in the Waco Tribune Herald,

Waco , TX

PUT ME IN CHARGE . . .

Put me in charge of food stamps:

no cash for Ding Dongs or Ho Ho's, just money for 50-pound bags of rice and beans, blocks of cheese and all the powdered milk you can haul away.

If you want steak and frozen pizza, then get a job.

Put me in charge of Medicaid. Then, we'll test recipients for drugs, alcohol, and nicotine. If you want to use drugs, alcohol, or smoke, then get a job.

Put me in charge of government housing. Ever live in a military barracks? You will maintain our property in a clean and good state of repair. Your "home" will be subject to inspections anytime and possessions will be inventoried.

If you want a plasma TV or Xbox 360,

then get a job and your own place.

In addition, you will either present a check stub from a job each week or you will report to a "government" job. It may be cleaning the roadways of trash, painting and repairing public housing, whatever we find for you. We will sell your 22-inch rims and low profile tires and your blasting stereo and speakers and put that money toward the "common good."

Before you write that I've violated someone's rights, realize that all of the above is voluntary. If you want our money, accept our rules. Before you say that this would be "demeaning" and ruin their "self-esteem," consider that it wasn't that long ago that taking someone else's money for doing absolutely nothing was demeaning and lowered self-esteem.

If we are expected to pay for other people's mistakes we should at least attempt to make them learn from their bad choices. The current system rewards them for continuing to make bad choices.

I love this one.

AND While you are on Gov't subsistence, you no longer can VOTE! Yes, that is correct. For you to vote would be a conflict of interest. You will voluntarily remove yourself from voting while you are receiving a Gov't welfare check. If you want to vote, then get a job.

Well, it seems I have a pile of molted black feathers on my key board. I have learned some interesting things from listening to the rants.Certain people do not acknowledge the close family and friend connections I still have with Elk County.  (Like many out there, that connection goes back a very long time, well over a hundred years.) We do talk and I'm told what is going on, both good and bad. I have also learned that certain folks refuse to accept majority rule. When you are in the minority and lose an election by a good margin, that should tell one something. There will always be a loser. Don't you believe in Democracy?
As far as Cat's comments, she is right. Ugly words and attitudes did not exist on this forum until a certain few showed up. Now look what you are left with as the majority have gone. I only came back onto several threads to see how the election turned out. Sadly, I'm not surprised at the losers attitudes. Now you can really show 'em can't ya? Ross is even threatening to move away. Wow, that's productive isn't it?
So you have some problems. Show me an area that doesn't have problems of one kind or another. We had to deal with court ordered school busing for 40 years. Ya wanna talk about problems?   Our kids got shifted worse than yours do now and traveled an hour for no good reason at all. School taxes increased and have never gone down, but we had to make the best of it. Kids who lived only a block from their local school were bussed an hour away!
Don't care for the President? Get in line. War talk got ya down? Join the club.  Stop immersing yourselves in the bad side of life for hours and hours a day. It's not good for your health.
Your parents and grand parents had even harder lives. Appreciate what you have. Live within your means. Money is not the answer to everything. Stop being so jealous. God will be sure you get what you are to have.  Smile more and grump less. We all die in the end but people like me will have had a much happier life on the way
I will repeat what I said about poor Christian attitude.I still mean it. Perhaps you can poll everyone who voted and shun and boycott all the ones that didn't vote your way.
Pick on me? So what? I can have "attitude" just like any of you. I just had to learn that being incredibly rude is OK out there now so I'll do it too whenever it suits me and I better not hear one peep from you. Put your adult panties on and stop whining. I DON"T CARE. You are now on ignore, so stick it in your nest an hatch it.

I the B.S. shared from it is not recognized because he said, she said is simply gossip without saying who or she is. If you are to cowardly to add meat to the potatoes, you get what you deserve. And I said that politely trying to explain that your B.S. from Delaware is still B. S.

Your denial of  your Konnections to Elk Konnected and the Bull they have had you post is a prime example. Get over your self and speak clearly and honestly in your political posts and you might be taken seriously.

Please clarify who and what you are referring to.
Try real hard to using your diplomas to communicate effectively.

Perhaps Cat is right for once, on that account, perhaps it was that way before Elk Konnected Followers came on here being abusive and threatening and doing all that name calling. But that still does not give her or you the right or privilege to try to censor others that post on this forum by trying to put them down or drag them down to your level. So why don't you submit your written apology and see if any one accepts it?

Ross has never made a threat on this forum. If you think I have made a threat, I think you need to further your education, because it is lacking. Show me a threat I have made, do a quote of it if you have the kowledge to do so.

As a loser you really don't understand the losers attitude because the show isn't over until the fat lady sings.

I personally do on both of your points. However apparently you do not appreciate what you have in Delaware or you would not be putting people down over a thousand miles from where you live.

Money is not the answer to everything.

I have said that all along. But apparently your friends and Followers of Elk Konnected do not agree. Just go back and look at the Elk Konnected thread and read all their ridiculous ideas for spending the County Taxpayer's money.

I have asked repeatedly for an explanation how Elk Konnected defines Quality of Life and neither you or the followers can provide a decent answer. Go figure! Therefore, I feel it is safe to assume, it is to get their grubbies on taxpayer money based on there actions.

Good lord woman what are you talking about?
It has been my experience that only the jealous use a statement like that!
What is there to be jealous of? You poor, poor lady!

I am not picking on you, because there is nothing to gain in doing so. I am simply responding to your post.
Trying to be polite and kind with you has failed me terribly, because you will not accept polite and kind. And I am not the first to realize that. Just being honest, really being honest with you Diane.

You did not learn to be rude and nasty on this forum, as I understand it from my contact in Delaware, you have been that way for a long time with anyone that disagrees with you.

And again, those who say they will ignore........ do not. Why? Because they can't just voice an opinion, they must attack anyone they disagree with, with " ugly words and attitudes".

For a week or so, no personal attacks happened. A particular member was puzzled that no one was responding to their topic, Duh, no one gives a rat's patoot. So, what comes next ? A full assault in the topic that was never to be entered again, ignored.

Problem is, they can not refrain from written confrontation. They live and breathe it.

Try just stating what you think, and if anybody likes what you write, you won't have to quote and quibble about it. If they don't like what you write, you'll hear what radio calls " dead air".

      " Anybody out there".

I believe every word this man had to say. Which is hard for me to say about anything. I seldom believe everything. This case I have read about some of it over the years. We have seen the caskets, we have experienced the ammunition shortage. We have seen the story's about the children. We have read about the gov't providing ,weapons to the cartel under the guise of tracing illegal weapons in the US. Would that have been the Russian Cartel? Watch this video and listen very closely it is important.

I told a friend a week ago that I thought the Ebola out break was a test for a warfare weapon. If you check our history you would find that our government practiced on American citizens with out their knowledge decades ago.
