I would like for you to explain to me why you think Bush I and Bush 2 were for socialism? They did not try to ban our guns. They did not let all the people from across the border come over here and give them everything free. They were not perfect but at least they were for the people and the things this country stands for. The country was running fine when Clinton took over so he did not have to run the country it was running its self. The House impeached Clinton but the Senate was full of Democrats they did nothing to him. Oh and they tell us unemployment is only 6.7% but they are not adding in the people that are no longer working or just gave up because the work force is from across the border. I try to be opened minded about what is going on an listen to anything on any news station to give my opinion. ???
Why can't you see the socialistic values of the Bushes? Can you even see them in Obama or are you programmed to believe that Republicans are conservative. The republican Party has never been conservative - it's liberal.
Bush I - He pushed us into the ADA and he considers it a great accomplishment.

By the way, when Bush was governor of Texas, he had the Confederate plaques removed from the Texas Judicial Building. What kind of man would do that? A socialist you say?
The Confederate veterans were the last American army to fight for the Constitution and socialist don't like to go by the Constitution so why would Bush ever defend some as greatly American as that?
Has Bush ever thanked the veterans for defending our freedom? He wouldn't even stand against socialism here within our own shores, yet he expects American men to fight and be killed in Iraq.

As I read Redcliff's crap, I have decided he has mental problems. With that being said, he does have a right to his own opinion even if it is wrong. All he can put on here is web sites instead of putting the information on to read.
Jane, you're recalling the political abuse of the old Soviet Union when political dissent was a mental problem with an awarded trip to Siberia. I'm not surprised at you since you usually appear to be leaning mostly towards the Republican vision for America (socialism).
Abraham Lincoln is the father of our country as it exists today. You probably don't have a clue to that but it might stimulate your interest to find out.

I forgot to mention the New World Order by Bush I. The Bushes have promoted so much socialist stuff to be enforced upon the American people that it's not easy to recall all the damaging things they've done to the country. There's nothing wrong with Bushes as long as you think socialism is OK.
Same with Abraham Lincoln, he changed the united States of America from how the founding fathers established it so that people like the Bushes and Obama could continue his legacy.
Over the years, the socialists have created everything from the government schools to Obamacare and most Americans continue to vote 'em into office based upon their socialist leanings instead of American values.
