Obama On Gun Violence: 'Shame On Us If We've Forgotten' Newtown
WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama pressed Congress on Thursday not to forget the heartbreak of the Newtown elementary school massacre and "get squishy" on tightened gun laws, though some lawmakers in his own Democratic Party remain a tough sell on an approaching Senate vote to expand purchasers' background checks.
"Shame on us if we've forgotten," Obama said at the White House, standing amid 21 mothers who have lost children to shootings. "I haven't forgotten those kids."

My personal take and opinion.
Shame on President Obama for
capitalizing on and
exploiting dead children for the political purpose of gun bans and strenuous gun laws. As well as
exploiting the pain and suffering of the parents for the same political purpose.
Shame, shame, shame on him!Why do the
elite of this country get away with this behavior?
Why doesn't the news media point it out?
Every time we turn around in this country some organization or politician or
elite says it all for the children when it is all for political reasons or financial reasons.
It is just simply shameful!
Wasn't the young man responsible for this action, a disturbed child of an
elite person?
Wasn't the community aware of his problems?
Did the young man ever own a gun? NO!
Weren't the guns the property of his mother?
Didn't his mother provide her son with gun training?
Now, think, why didn't the community say anything, before the shootings took place?
Was it perhaps, because momma was a member of the
elite of that community?
If that is a possibility, I suggest putting the fault where it belongs, the society of that area --- not guns.
Stop
exploiting dead children for political reasons.
Stop
exploiting the pain of grieving parents for political reasons.
It is just simply wrong IMHO!
Amen! Stop exploiting all of us, period. Just do your JOB. Quit "campaigning" and taking vacations. Better yet, quit your job. I'd gladly chip in for your welfare.---Jennifer
