It would have knocked his ass down just like it did these women, because of how he was holding it...

I truly busted out laughing on several of these, especially the guy losing his pants.
Funny yes, potentially dangerous ,yes. Turning a girl loose without proper training is foolish! Not so funny, IMHO. I hope those girls got even later...somehow.
Believe it or not, I was thinking the same thing. Funny, yes... but dangerous. While the video does make the point that a shotgun isn't as easy to fire as one may think, it is obvious that no one prepared these ladies with what to expect. I get the impression that they just let them fire it without any instruction or warning. You could tell not one of them was shown how to stand with, hold on to, or fire any of those weapons... but it makes great YouTube vids. But it's no way to win anyone to your side of the gun debate or to get your wife/girlfriend interested in the sport... or supporting your interest in it, for that matter
Not just "potentially" dangerous, absolutely dangerous. First mistake was putting more than one shell in.
Why is it not a suprise that you think they need to retaliate. Where is the" put on big girl panties" and take responsibility for doing something they obviously knew little about. Oh, I forgot, that's the liberal view, blame it on someone else when you screw up.
They didn't care any more than to let the girls risk getting all bruised up? or worse? Boy, you must hate all women to feel that way. You wanna risk doing that and having a girl get even in her way? As I said, blame it on someone else. Who is "he" anyway? Were you there ? You have no knowledge of the circumstances. The women I know are not that ignorant, and learned to shoot and respect a gun as children.

I've seen this kind of woman as well. I've also seen guys like the idiot who couldn't keep his pants up.
My 2 sons and my daughter all 3 learned to shoot at a young age and they are excellent shooters to this day. They learned on pistols, rifles and shotguns. My daughter Quail and dove hunted with me all of the time. She shot a 1100 20 gauge and was very good with it.

All 3 of my kids grew up in Midland, Texas. The gun club in Midland gave free shooting lessons to the members family. All 3 of mine took the lessons. They were already well acquainted with shooting all kinds of guns, As far as starting on a shotgun, I started them on a 410. They are all 3 great shots. I can see where a group of women who had never shot a shotgun could have the reaction that the women in the video had.
I see, nor hear, anything that excuses the stupid people with a gun in their hands from doing something they shouldn't.

My high school shooting team had boys and girls that were well trained. Properly trained 90 lb kids can shoot 44 mag, 12 quage, 600 Nitro Express. Training is the key. Now for my take on Biden's suggestion:
Run across the house exposing yourself to the intruder while you make your way to the deck. Then shoot your only two shots to scare off the criminal, alerting them to your position out on the deck. Then discover that you now are out on the deck, no ammunition, criminal alerted to your exact position. Should have used your energy to just keep running out the door. If you are going to fire a weapon in self-defense you do it to kill your threat.
