The whole purpose of the Constitution is to insulate personal freedom from the lust for power of those in government and from the passions of the people who sent them there.

It does seem that the elected officials no longer work for the people.
I think they should perhaps humble themselves to the peoplem whom they are suppose to serve.
Instead of looking for an extravagant life style at our expense. and as well the waste of taxpayer moneys on pet projects
such as the bridge to nowhere.
Just my thought and opinion.
