Vote like your life depends on it because, if Obuma is re-elected, it will! If the nightmare of annual trillion dollar deficits is not enough to get you out to vote, if the continuation of four more years of divisive class warfare doesn't phase you, if you didn't take Obuma seriously when he told the Russians he could be more "flexible" with them after he has no more elections to win, if you don't mind paying the bills for a growing welfare and food stamp army, if you want to see 30 million illegal Mexicans made citizens, and further burdening our social service support net, if you don't care that Obuma has circumvented the constitution by selecting "czars" to run the economy, if you don't mind Obuma issuing "royal edicts" in place of congressional law, then by all means stay home and don't go out and vote.
You're not crazy about Mitt Romney? Stay home! The Republican team is not conservative or liberal enough for you? Then don't bother to vote.
But let me at least point out one further nightmare that WILL occur during Obuma's second term. Take a look at those nine folks up there at the top. That's the folks on the U.S. Supreme Court. As of now the conservative/liberal breakdown on the court is four liberals and four conservatives....and one Chief Justice that doesn't know what the hell he is. Now, I want you to google their ages. Three of the Conservative court members are in their 70's and 80's.
Now try to get a grasp on this. It is very likely that Barack Insane-Hussein Obuma will be appointing two or three more Supreme Court Judges if he is re-elected. Can you think of an easier way for Obuma to succeed in establishing the U.S. Union of Socialist Republics than packing the court with liberal fanatics?
Here's Obama's first pick for the court:

That's right; Attorney General Eric Holder. The same man that called whites "racist cowards". The same man that is suing a couple of dozen states for trying to enforce immigration laws. The same man that has lawsuits pending against the states for trying to enforce Voter ID laws. The same Eric Holder than gave Mexican drug cartels weapons with which to kill our border patrol folks.
Obama's Next Pick:

Yeah, Janet Napolitano, Homeland Security Chief who says Mexicans aren't invading and she fears the American Tea Party more than illegal Mexicans.
So, if you can't warm up to Romney, if you made other plans for Tuesday, November 6th, good luck with your next four years!

US Election Polls 2012: Romney Gains Lead Among Likely Voters, Lags Behind Among Registered Voters
President Barack Obama has yet to shake off his poor performance at last week's first presidential debate against Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Obama has struggled to maintain his lead against the GOP candidate, leading to a fluctuation in poll numbers in the days following the debate.
Over the past week alone, Gallup's Daily tracking has seen ever-changeable numbers emerge among both registered and likely voters.
http://www.gallup.com/home.aspx
Friday's Gallup Daily tracking revealed that Obama and Romney maintained their favorable ratings among registered voters, 48 percent to 46 percent respectively, in the past 24 hours. Just two days earlier, the president enjoyed a wider margin lead against Romney among registered voters at 50 percent to Romney's 45 percent.
Among likely voters, Romney scored an additional point from the previous day, bringing him to the lead at 49 percent to Obama's 47 percent. Romney again tipped the scales towards his side after tying with Obama at 48 percent on Wednesday.
President Obama's numbers among likely voters aren't the only ones taking a hit. According to the Gallup Daily tracking, his approval rating has dropped two points from the previous day to 50 percent. Obama's disapproval rating, on the other hand, jumped one point to 44 percent.
Romney has seen a steady shift in his direction following his strong performance in the first presidential debate in Denver. However, the Republican candidate continues to suffer from lack of support among women, Latinos and black voters. Recent polls also show that Romney has yet to gain a foothold on key swing states, which could cost him the election.
The effects of Thursday night's vice presidential debate on the poll ratings for each candidate have yet to be seen. Both Vice President Joe Biden and Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan performed strongly, however, some are calling Biden the winner. Biden's stronger performance may prove helpful to the Obama campaign, although vice presidential debates do not usually make a big impact among voters.
The Republican presidential candidate lagged behind Obama prior to the debates and may use the following two debates to continue his surge among both registered and likely voters.
http://www.suffolk.edu/research/49299.html
Two remaining presidential debates between Romney and Obama are scheduled prior to the Nov. 6 election. The next presidential debate will be held on October 16 at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y. and will focus on foreign and domestic policies. The last presidential debate will be held on October 22 at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fla.
Presidential Polls 2012 - Swing States: Romney Takes Florida, Advances in New Polls
By I-Hsien Sherwood | First Posted: Oct 12, 2012 04:46 PM EDT
A slew of polls from swing states crucial to both presidential campaigns was released late on Thursday, and they paint a worrisome picture for Barack Obama's reelection hopes.
In two of those states, Colorado and Florida, Republican challenger Mitt Romney has overtaken Obama and now leads.
Romney has made gains in several other states, and polls disagree on who is currently in the lead in Virginia, a state Obama has had definite control of until recently
(http://graphics8.nytimes.com/images/2012/10/13/us/politics/13fivethirtyeight/13fivethirtyeight-blog480.jpg)
*Friday Oct. 12, 2012
A Miami Herald poll released Thursday put Romney 7 points ahead of the president, a huge lead in a state that went for Obama in 2008 and was the decisive state in the contentious 2000 election between Al Gore and George W. Bush.
http://www.miamiherald.com/2012/10/11/3045712/poll-strong-debate-helps-mitt.html
Most other polls put Romney slightly ahead, with a lead of less than 2 points.
Since last week, and his poor performance in the first presidential debate, Obama has lost support nationwide, among traditional Democratic constituencies like women, and in the swing states.
At first it seems like Mitt Romney's post-debate bounce was affecting the swing states less than the nation as a whole. Some analysts speculated that voters in swing states are exposed to far more information about the candidates than the rest of the country, and so are in some ways inoculated against large popularity swings.
This may be true, but resistance to the Romney bounce did not hold in the swing states.
Due to the quirky math of the Electoral College, the winner of a state receives all of its votes, so the election will be decided by the nine states that might go for either candidate: Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia and Wisconsin.
While Obama has been losing support in the national popular vote, the campaign had hoped strong showing in the swing states would clinch the Electoral College and the presidency.
That's still possible, but it is looking less likely. New Hampshire, Iowa, Nevada, and Wisconsin seems safely Democratic, but Ohio and its 18 electoral votes is teetering on the edge of Republican territory. No Republican has ever won the White House without winning Ohio, and if Romney does not take the state, he will have to win both Florida and North Carolina.
http://fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes.com/
Currently, that scenario looks plausible, but it is not a path Romney wants to be forced to take.
"He has achieved success who has lived well, laughed often and loved much; who has gained the respect of intelligent men and the love of little children; who has filled his niche and accomplished his task; who has left the world better than he found it, whether by an improved poppy, a perfect poem, or a rescued soul; who has never lacked appreciation of earth's beauty or failed to express it; who has always looked for the best in others and given them the best he had; whose life was an inspiration; whose memory a benediction."

I'm so very very sad... and disappointed... and angry that there are so many stupid people out there that can ignore what is right under their noses and has been for 4 long painful years..
I know that this isn't very nice to say~~ but I hope that when the shit hits the fan~~ They are the first ones to get a mouth full of it..
Other than that... I'll just keep working and paying so those that don't and won't, can have all the "stuff" that Obama has told them they are entitled to.
Teresa,
I feel the same as you. That is why I am flying Old Glory at half mast today. I'm doing it to honor our beloved country that as of today just died as we knew it.
I do see the NE is going to get hammered by a snow storm right on the heels of the hurricane from last week. It's a shame all those "blue states" are having to suffer so much----I've been told that God works in mysterious ways
Your humanitarianism is amazing! Gee thanks. Does God punish you with tornadoes? When these storms come they don't spare any political party. >:( It's snowing and very messy here and our coastlines is getting hit again. Not as bad as before but bad enough. Happens to be that's where our Repubs. live and farm, downstate on the flat lands.
Diane,
Seeing as you like to tell people "I wasn't talking to you " ---Do you see your name in my post ?
Most times I read your crap and take it with a grain of salt (or should I say many grains of salt on the rim of my Margarita glass ) but on this day I don't really give a rats ass what happens to your socialist leaning state---or you---so go scratch your fingernail down someone else's blackboard
I have to agree with you there, Ronnie. I didn't see where you had called out the old sow with a dinner bucket. I could give a rats' ass less about Delaware, New York and all of DC needs to be flushed. Them states that are so damn perfect and wonderful to live there and according to the sow that everything in Delaware is so much better than anywhere else in the US or world. Let Delaware fix their own damn state. My tax money should stay here in Kansas. We take care of our own and they can take care of theirs. Stop panhandling in the midwest.---Robert

Not sure what your religion teaches, but the Bible is full of examples, from start to finish, about God visiting wrath on folks with hardened hearts. So I guess the answer to your question would be... yes, it's very possible. Though I doubt those with seared consciences would understand.
Who pray tell is ''panhandling" in the mid west?I didn't have my hand out. I've sent money out your way to support various things, but to my knowledge none of you have ever sent anything here, and all things considering, I wouldn't expect you to. Speaking of hardened hearts.... Even at that, your state leeches off us, not the other way around! We are a donor state, you are a receiver state, so ya might wanna be careful what ya say! Ya can't even take care of your state's needs with out help from states like us. I'd have never said that, but I'm sick of being attacked and ridiculed. Yes, I was called out since my state was also hit with the two storms..It is my business. Sow? Now that's funny coming from someone who cooks and sells greasy stuff. ;) Could ya be much ruder?
As far as thinking that here is better than there, that's all in your head. It's just different. I've talked about things here just as you all talk abut things there. We have a bunch of little towns of 500 or less and lots of farms downstate. Our state population is much smaller than yours. So what. I didn't know we were setting standards for excellence and you came out lacking. That sounds like just plain old, totally unnecessary, green eyed jealousy, and I don't know why. Why so touchy?
Yes ,I am proud of Newark Charter School, but I hear nice comments out there about music and math awards etc. and I'd never belittle them. I'd always support that kind of thing where ever it is. As far as "grains of salt." That's your problem. I'm not the one with a bunker in the back yard!If you are pissed at Obama ,don't take it out on me! Sheesh!

local folks on a
local forum not giving a damn about your incessant commentary about
non-local matters or perspectives.
It also doesn't say California or any other state like Oklahoma or Texas or Mo. either!
So why are you picking on me? Are you self absorbed and mean? Don't ya wanna put barbed wire around Elk County with armed guards so your version of Rif-raf can't get in? And you wonder if the county will ever recover? Why would anyone want to visit there to get a flavor of the place and see this kind of attitude. "This is a closed county...go away." Maybe you better take down your flag if that's how you really feel. Forums are supposed to be for two way conversations. If there are rules to the contrary, please post them.

Those in say California or any other state like Oklahoma or Texas or Mo. don't waste near as much time on matters related to their local areas as you do. I suspect they reserve those efforts for folks in their communities to whom those things matter.
Self absorbed & mean? Meany meany! What a sandlot chant! Save your ad hominem personal attacks for those who are still worried about being called names by a bloviating leftist. I'm not. Nor am I a racist, homophobe or xenophobe.
So you never read what Larry has to say? You skip those nifty historical tidbits he shares every day because they bore you Sounds like a personal problem of your own doesn't it?
So then you will never again mention 9-11 because it had nothing to do with you, now did it... and New York should be flushed anyway."Waste time?" Hah! Don't send that beef east 'cause we don't want it, and send your corn somewhere else...kinda silly huh?

Paraphrasing Ann Coulter, "You know you're talking to a liberal when they begin blowing steam from every orifice in their body".
More personal attacks. This time regarding my mental health. That's rich. Feel better Ms Lib? I was referencing your "local" subjects.. you know, youre spethial school, your spethial town, your spethial EMT training gropes, your spethial volunteer fur department, your stunted career as an allergy prone government school teacher... as if any of that has anything to do with Elk County, Kansas. Or Obama vs Romney. YOUR local drip, drip, drip has no comparison to 9-11... or corn. Though it does resemble food products - post digestion.

And you've been 'telling about' your eastern college town since July 01, 2007. I wouldn't expect you to be a doormat, and my 'anger' has nothing to do with who did or didn't win an election. My indignation has everything to do with the clear lack of understanding and usurpation inflicted by you and your ilk on the Constitution in the name of your religion... the creation of some kind of a utopian, 'all for the children/save the baby whale' heaven on earth by elites who think they are greater than the masses. But, you go ahead with your personal attacks and feigned victim status. If you understood the idiologies involved, your humor might be tempered with sober understnding. Ultimately, time will be the test.
