Title: "Issues" or America?
Post by: Patriot on August 22, 2012, 01:36:49 AM

There are some very serious issues at stake in this year's election -- so many that some people may not be able to see the forest for the trees. Individual issues are the trees, but the forest is the future of America as we have known it.

The America that has flourished for more than two centuries is being quietly but steadily dismantled by the Obama administration, during the process of dealing with particular issues...

...When a President can ignore the plain language of duly passed laws, and substitute his own executive orders, then we no longer have "a government of laws, and not of men" but a President ruling by decree, like the dictator in some banana republic...
- Thomas Sowell

Definition of Audacity :  Barack Obuma. I got an e-mail about his so called "bus" tour in the two Canadian buses we paid 1.1 million each for. They flew the buses on cargo planes from city to city while he flew on Air Force One. Then he would get on the bus and appear to have ridden it the entire trip. Wonder what that cost us for his campaigning ?  >:(

Does he stop being President when he is traveling for whatever the reason? Air Force One is chock full of security and special features that his security people insist on. He doesn't have a choice. Neither have the previous presidents.
When did he ever say he had ridden the buses the entire time? I sure haven't heard it.
The next president will be doing the exact same thing. Political and personal expenses are paid for out of the political and personal budgets. Presidential expenses are taxpayer paid. There are people whose job it is to figure out which is what and make sure it comes out right. Same for the next president.
As for those 2 armored buses ,the secret service bought them and fitted them out with all the fancy communication and security gadgets. It is possible that Romney may use it also. In 2008,.buses were rented and all the extras were installed and had to be removed before the buses were returned. This, to me, will most likely save money n the long run. Of course Romney is so incredibley  wealthy he could buy the buses himself and just tax deduct them as business expenses.
