(SEVERY, Kan.)—
A Severy man is dead after being stabbed Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012. The Greenwood County Sheriff's department was called to the scene just before 10 p.m. The sheriff's office says when they arrived, deputies found 40-year-old Dominick Angelo with several stab wounds. He was taken to the hospital where he later died. The suspect in the stabbing had left the scene before officers arrived, but deputies spotted the 48-year-old's vehicle near Eureka. He was taken into custody and booked on second degree murder charges. The Greenwood county sheriff's office also says it placed a child into protective custody.
