The candidates are weeding themselves out. I started out thinking Perry was the man, we voted for him twice in Texas, he has really been a big disappointment on the Presidential trail. I agree with Ron and Jo, Newt in 2012.
I'm just going to wait and see and not worry about whats there right now. Shrug. We only get to choose from what is left standing
I do really, really like Newt. At the moment he is for sure a solid second for me under Cain. I've been considering putting him at number one just because I think he would be a great President and would likely embarrass the hell out of Obama when it comes to debates. Oh how I would loooove to see that.... hmm... maybe I should vote for Newt. ;D
Atta Boy, Mark !!
I truly believe that Newt is the only one that has the REAL SMARTS to be President.
Cain scares me...first he "Knows nothing about any allegations against him...then he knows just a little ... then he says, "well, yes, he did learn something about the settlements" and now he refuses to even answer any questions brought to him about the whole disclosures. Sort of sounds like some more of the same-o same-o....(Slick Willy, maybe????)

Like i said, i'm bout tired of picking from the bottom of the barrel.
the field is generally terrible. Newt is the smartest of the bunch, but he has no moral values either.
Quotebut he has no moral values either.
That is a pretty wide blanket statement. Would you care to share his immoral stances for us?
specifics please, Anmar
If you want to find out more about Herman Cain and why you shouldn't vote for him got to this site. Warning: there is some bad language on this site, so if that may offend you don't go there.

I wouldn't mind having Newt for President. But (at this moment) I would really like a Cain/Gingrich ticket. We'll have to wait and see!
Lisa
It'll sort itself out!

And you know this how? I know Newt, i've personally met him. Have you?
Am I the only one who's aware that Newt was cheating on his wife while she was battling cancer? That he served her with divorce papers while she was in the hospital, and that he was doing all this while leading the charge against clinton? That he's been divorced 3 times and that he's been spending campaign money on his third wife to shop at tiffany's?

The website this information is on is just a blog, not something from an actual journalist. Bloggers can write whatever they want because it's their "opinion". The guy writing the blog is entitled to his opinion, and so am I.

The first allegation is probably true, but then clinton cheated on his wife, as well as most politicians. Not saying its ok but if your basing your decision on that one thing, your going to be not voting this year.
3 divorces? Uhm quite frankly the best thing for a bad marraige is a good divorce.
You must have Proof he's spending campaign money on his wife.
You do realize that she has her own money don't you!
All in all though So what! He sucks at personal homelife that i agree with and he even agrees with you. But when you put him into his work field you can't find much better than him! So he's good at working in government and sucks at homelife.
I was good in IT industry and sucked at home life. So what? You wanna base how good people are on how many divorces they've had, I know some awesome folks that have had more divorces than NEWT.
Click on this link and listen to Newt's speech in Iowa last night !!!

NEWT 2012
Gingrich is slick for sure. In that video Gringrich supports ethanol as his choice in lieu of gov't sending money to the MiddleEast.
How nice! He's a genuine Republican in the line of Lincoln and Obama is a Lincoln man too.
Nothing new. It doesn't look like much of a choice for the next election in 2012.

Am I reading you right red, that you would rather our money go to the middle east or Venezuela than be kept at home UNTIL we "Drill Baby Drill" and have enough oil of our own ? I hate the very thought that we are using "food" to make ethanol but I hate it more that Hugo & friends get our money. I have shared with you who I would like to be our next president so could you tell us who you want ?

Maybe I will vote for Newt after all....
Lisa
and I'm not a Republican
Jarhead-
UNTIL when? The founding fathers had it right when they put these united States of America in motion.
We're not doing much of anything in this land to keep it as right as we can.
Ethanol production ought not to be supported by Gov't money nor should any other industry.
Nor should the gov't support the failing companies and banks even if they are too big to fail.
While we're at it, the gov't has been against American oil drilling and the employment of the
citizens of the States of the USA. Most of us are using foreign oil products and wearing foreign
made clothes or boots/shoes and using all kinds of foreign products. I don't advocate the Fed's
funding Ethanol, wind power, clothing manufacturers, boot/shoe manufacturers or any other industries.
Federal support of industries and Federal prohibitons of others should not be permitted.
I'm not recalling who you would like to be the next President. However, I'm thinking that a good
President would be a constitutional type like Ron Paul, certainly not the Keynesian/liberal/socilistic types
like Obama and the candidates of the Republican party.
Don't you know candidate hot air when you hear it? There is no discussion until the ''real" candidates are chosen and that is far from settled.
The real trick is to pick the guy (or gal) who is huffin' and puffin' the least! ;D The debates have been interesting and at times entertaining.
Lisa
I wont support anyone who advocates using our food source as fuel for vehicles.
Yeah,I don't like that either.....but as Lisa said,it's all very entertaining but mostly campaign baloney.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought Ron Paul aint against ethanol he just don't want the Govt. to subsidize corn to make it (which I fully agree with him on that one) but instead of corn he wants us to use hemp---so Steve---would you rather sacrifice your Corn Flakes or watch a bunch of kick ass Affie going into your gas tank ? ;D

I wish we could grow hemp. Theres 25 different products that are made from hemp and saleable. It is a wonderful product. It would also be ok for ethanol after you extract the oil
MY primary objection to using any food supply is that the prices paid to use for fuel will remove it from our food supply. We see it already in our corn and wheat prices already.
Good video on Gingrich

A message from the John Birch Society ?? I have as much faith in that radical far right group a I do The Huffington Post, the far left liberal propaganda spreading group. I think we all know that the radicals can twist things around to fit their propaganda driven agenda. Hell, Moveon.org can convince anyone that Obummer is a better Prez than Peanuts Carter---when we all know that's not true. I, in no way, think Newt is perfect but name me one---just one--of our choices that is. A lot of Ron Paul's rhetoric I really like---until he starts his BS about bringing ALL our soldiers home and stripping the military down to a bare bones existence to save a few billion PLUS saying we will play nice with ALL the countries that hate us and by doing so they will start wanting to take warm showers with us.
Think our current CiC tried that and guess we know how that has worked out for us !!,
Red, all in all I agree with you 88.66 % of the time(+ - 3 points for error ) but over Newt we have become mortal enemies ----just joking :D
Sarge for Dictator in 2012 ---the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool will be stocked with slab side crappie and every day the Marine-One will fly over and drop a grenade in it---and WE will have fresh fish every night at the ol White House. I say WE because Ol Sarge has promised I will be Commandant of my beloved Corps
Pat Paulson for Prez!
Nobody is asking you to put any faith in the John Birch Society. I don't have any faith in Newt Gingrich, he's certainly on track
with the liberal agenda and socilaism just like the other Republican candidates.
He's even talking about his upcoming new 21st Century Contract with America. We gonna fall for that one too, like we did the first one in 1994?
Gingrich is slick but he's no conservative. He no Southerner nor is he a constitutionalist. Gingrich is part of the same scheme of things that Obama is.
Jarhead, I'll go with your figures. it's good to know that we are agreeable 88.66% (+-3%) of the time.
Stay on 'em.
