Post by: patyrn on October 04, 2011, 09:56:41 AM
Buddyboy, you've been pretty quiet lately on the forum.  Have a great day as you begin another year filled with lots of happiness.

Happy Birthday!

Thanks for the wishes. It was a good birthday. Only 364 more days to AARP! HA! Had the main celebration on the weekend. Joe, my oldest, and Caitlyn, my granddaughter, have their birthdays on the 3rd. So we celebrated on Saturday with breakfast for supper, cake and ice cream. A good day.

I once had a friend, bless her heart she died at 88, but she always thought the whole month of her birthday if not the year was worth celebrating the fact she was alive and still kicking.........and she did enjoy each moment of her life, that I knew her.
Rest in peace Gertrude!
how wonderful you could celebrate with family. that is a tremendous gift. PTL

It is great to have family nearby. So many grandparents hardly ever get to see their grandkids. We are really blessed with that and a daughter in law that is more daughter than in law. Oldest only lives an hour away and Ruth's sister is here in town. So we have a lot of family nearby.
