Last night a house in Severy burned - considered a total loss. :( :'(
I'm not familiar with Severy addresses, but it's where Florene Smith used to live. I think Jennifer Eldridge and her family lived there.
I have no other details about the fire.
Someone said a donate jar was going to be placed at TripCo.
I know where this house was, but am trying to rack my brain as to who lived there when I was growing up.
I described the location of this house fire to my mother and she goes, "Oh, that's where Grandma Edwards lived." Flo Smith grew up there. It's hard to see the house where you grew up burn to the ground. Mother experienced some of that when the farmhouse that her parents owned in NW Elk County burned to the ground when the then owner burned a pizza in the oven.
Flo, I am so sorry some of your history is gone, but the memories are always there. I gathered from facebook that no one was injured in this fire. So glad to here that, but sorry for the family that lost their home.
