Art Haibon, Superintendent and Principal of the Elk Valley Schools, passed away this morning, April 11, 2011.  He has been undergoing treatment for cancer.  Details will follow when they are released.

That is sad. He had a rough fight. He did win. Now he is with Jesus and is in no pain.
Rest in Peace...... Art. God be with his family and friends.

When I was sheriff, Art Haibon was the principal and superintendent for Elk Valley. I always got along with him. He was a good guy in my books. My sympathy to his family.

Art Haibon's memorial service will be Wednesday, April 13th at 10 am in the Elk Valley gymnasium.
