But we all knew they were going to the big dance. But they won their ticket with no trouble from Texas this afternoon! Rock! Chalk! Jayhawk! Go! KU!
That's great!
I'll be pulling for them since my beloved team Georgetown was blasted by VCU 74 to 56. Where the hell is VCU anyway. I don't believe that team exists. I believe it was a group of NBA players incognito put there by Obuma to keep Georgetown out of the Final Four so his Ohio St. pick will win all the marbles. I hate dirty politics!
VCU is in Richmond. I don't think Hoyas exist either. I've never seen one. Heh,heh.

WHAT!!!!! Believe me, we exist. You probably have never met one for no self-respecting Hoya
would want to live in the state of Delaware where Joe (hire plugs) Biden comes from.
"Hoya Saxa!... Hoya Saxa!... Hoya Saxa!..." Heh, Heh, Heh.
BTW Warph, President Obama picked KU to win all the marbles. This did upset lots of Kstate fans. :D
SHOCKERS!!! SHOCKERS!!! SHOCKERS!!!
NIT NIT NIT
That was an awesome game the Shockers played the other night! Just totally embarrassed Nebraska!

Whoa... I stand corrected. I knew that. Thanks, Six. GO KU!
The Shockers play the number one seed (Virginia Tech), in the NIT on Sunday morning at 10:00 AM. I think I may stay home and watch it.
what channel is broadcasting the KU game. I get so frustrated trying to make sense out of the guides and flipping through channels trying to find K-State last night, I almost missed them. (Of course, that was so disappointing I might as well watched something else) but Wisconsin was earning the right to go on.
My daughter and grandsons live in Wisconsin, so they are happy! Now, Rock-Chalk Jayhawks!
SHOCKERS!!! SHOCKERS!!! SHOCKERS!!! They won their game today and get to go on to the 3rd round of the NIT.
Judy, if you have SKT the KU game will be on channel 30 at about 7:50 tonight. We were fortunate that this year we got to see all four parts of the tourney for the first time. I thank NCAA and the carrieres for that. Lotsa good basketball! And yes! Go Shocks!
Thanks Edie. Wish the paper would put a daily schedule in so we can see when WHO plays. Oh thank God for the forum and you all who have my habits...LOL
The sports pages of the Eagle always has a schedule for the local teams as well as what sports are playing overall. O' course you gotta figure out what channel, as they just give the network names. I think you might be able to find out some info by googling the tourneys' websites. I do wish that SKT were a little more responsive to catering to us 'addicts', and not so hell-bent on selling pay-per-view. :P :P
Oops! My bad! The channel is 31, just now starting! ;)
The cream, it is a-risin'! Rock Chalk! Jayhawk! Go! KU! ;D ;D
Here it is Tuesday night already, and Colorado Vs Kent State is a real dogfight! They have not been over one or two points apart all the way. There is speculation that Wichita State will be paired with Colorado in the semi-finals. Now wouldn't that be somethin'? 'Course, Wichita State has to get past their own problems; playing at home against a tem they should beat easily. Could be very bad Karma, looking at the way they have played in the past. I'm hopin'! :-\ :-\
SHOCKERS!!! SHOCKERS!!! SHOCKERS!!! on their way to Madison Square Garden
Yes! Go WSU! Did you ever see a coach enjoy a basketball game as much as the Charleston coach? Heads up, Frank Martin, you could learn somethin' here. This guy was his teams' biggest cheerleader; they all knew when they hadn't done what they should, and came back to end the game with a respectable number as a loss. Overall, a very good game! Go WSU! Go Shockers!
It looks as though Spiders are a natural food for Jayhawks! Rock Chalk! Jayhawk! Go! KU!
I have been waiting for someone to explain to me what happened to the Hawks. I can't believe that they played that game. If I hadn't recognized the players, I would say that they were all impersonators. Perhaps they were, in disguise. I know KU lost the game but I just can't make myself believe it. There is something wrong there.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, WSU is playing tonight for the chance to play for first place in the NIT. They need all that energy that would have been going to KU. Tonight at 6:00 on ESPN2, Central time. If you can't watch or don't care to watch, send them a thought or two. It is amazing what the energy that is generated by your support can do. The State of Kansas is still represented in this game. Help us to win at least one national championship.
GO, SHOCKS!!! BRING IT HOME!!!
I'll be watchin' and hoping for great things! I have been following this team for over fifty years! Go Shocks! 8) 8)
Who are the Shockers playing. I don't get that channel.
They are playing Washington State. I thought everybody got ESPN? Right now they are way ahead 58 to 30. Looks like it will be a blowout.
It was. 75--44. Wichita is on the way to the championship.
Getting ready to go into the second half; looks like Alabama has a little edge over Colorado to see who goes against the Shockers on Thursday night.
Even though I don't get to watch very many basketball games that WSU plays, I am so proud of this team. Seems they have come a long ways and I am sending my thoughts for them to grab that championship trophy. Go Shocks.
Tonight is the night. Due to start in about 10 minutes, I think. Keep your positive thoughts headed to the Shocks in Madison Square Garden, NYC. ESPN2, channel 24 on the SKTC cable.
All ready here! Everybody has been fed, and I am just finishing my own stirfry. Go Shocks! :D :D
They did it! They did it! Wichita has brought a national championship home to Kansas. GO SHOCKS!! You did it.
Congratulations to the Shockers! Best of all, a beautiful game was played; at the two minute mark, 10 players had played and ten players had scored! Hooray! Great basketball! I must admit that having seen the last couple of games by Alabama, I was worried, but classic game won! Hooray! ;D ;D
Congratulations to all you loyal supporters. They did great!
