What needs to be done to replace the school board? other than waiting to vote them out, isnt there a way that we can fire them all, and start over with a new election? I wish the common person that complains would wake up and not vote every politician into office that has money, and has no concept of reality.
Do you really believe that good people could get anything done serving on a public school board?
To be honest, they do listen to the Superintendent and Principals to base their decisions on. They don't listen to the ones that they need to be listening to, but that is not just West Elk that is any school board. They have some good members on the school board, but if the majority don't agree then it don't matter.
I worked in a hospital for about 15 years. Group decisions and committee decisions were often silly and wrong decisions.
