Michael E. (Mick) Dexter, age 72, of Altoona, Kansas and formerly of Longton, Kansas, died Sunday, November 7, 2010 at the Golden Living Center in Fredonia, Kansas. Michael was born May 18, 1939 in Oak Valley, Kansas, the son of Lester and Floy Alice (Ferguson) Dexter.
Michael worked as a truck driver prior to his retirement.
He is survived by his sister, Sue Crawford of Raytown, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has taken requested with no services planned at this time. Memorials have been suggested to the Fredonia Food Bank and may be left with the funeral home.
