I couldn't pass up posting this.
China has passed the US in overall energy consumption. The rise of China and the fall of the US in jobs, international trade and energy consuption goes back to Bill Clinton and the 2 big trade agreements he did. When the world economies pickup the US is going to find it is on the short side for the supply of Petroleum based energy, Diesel, Gasoline, Jet Fuel and Av Gas.
China will soon be the largest consumer of Petroleum based energy in the world. We will see $5.00 and higher Gasoline again and with it we will see our economy go back into deep recession.

So lets stop with the "every party" politics and back room deals and get busy like Germany and Norway and Amsterdam and others and get going with gas conversion where ever possible. We need to get our hands out of our pockets and do whatever is necessary NOW. They are running cars and trucks and boats and buses and we can't seem to get any inertia going in a big enough way. Of course it will take awhile, but let's get it going!
