Please tell your mom that even though I won't be able to come over, I will be keeping her in my thoughts on her special day!! :D
Will do :)
Wish I could be there to help wish her Happy Birthday and to meet everyone. Sounds like it would be a great time.
Don't forget to come say hello and Happy Birthday !!......and have some cake!
Flo, here is a birthday hug from me.~ squeeze~ :-* and eat some cake for me too.
I plan on coming tomorrow for the party. I just hope the heat eases off some.
I am starting to feel like a hermit. I am glad I have the air conditioning, but am starting
to get cabin fever. If I can't make it I will let you know.
Sounds like a fine time for some of the forum members to get together.
Happy Birthday Flo . Hugs to you!
Sorry we aren't in Howard this weekend. Have a great day, Flo! Happy 70th! What a milestone!
Happy 70th Birthday, Flo. I wish I could be there, but am working nights. Have a good time.
Flo, I hope you had a wonderful time on your birthday.
The Birthday Party was wonderful !
Flo is a lovely lady and as evidenced, loved dearly by her family.
May she be blessed with many more Happy Birthdays.
Jo
Flo looked beautiful. I'm glad there was a good turn-out.
I think Mom had a real good party :) A lot of friends and family made it by and we did a lot of visitin! It was a good day.
I met Sixdogs, Mom70x7, Jo, and Judy Harder. It was real nice meetin you all and thanks for comin by :)
Pam, the pleasure was mine! I hope your Mom has many more Happy Birthdays; we already know that she is blessed. Thanks for the invite, I enjoyed it! :D
Flo, sorry I missed your party, but Steve had emergency eye surgery yesterday. And you know a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. Hope you had a great one. ;)
Ahh - I missed Judy! And it was nice to put faces and names together.
Pam - I think your mom is terrific!
Yes, it was fun putting faces (and nicknames) to people. We have barely begun.
I can see more of us getting together sooner or later.
Flo, I am so glad you had a great birthday. I know you made wonderful memories.
Stay cool. It is going to be nasty. Hugs
I missed the party, too, but Janet sent me a picture of 4 women. I must say one of them was a beautiful lady, much better looking than her three sisters. (Flo, you can pay me for this the next time you see me. No need to make a trip over here.)
;D Wilma, you are a caution ;D If I live to be 110, I will never have a birthday celebration to equal the one I had for my 70th. It was a perfect day, heat and all. So many friends and relatives to share the day with. So many beautiful cards and lovely gifts. And the hugs ! ! you all know my feelings about hugs and I got a lifetime's worth yesterday. So many sweet memories to hold in my heart. Thanks to each and every one. And for those that couldn't make it, your wishes are very much appreciated and mean very much to me. Got to tell you about one gift I got, from my onery nephew. A mason jar of DIRT, brought all the way from Nebraska. He said it was the only thing he could find that was older than me. That's okay, love it (and I'll get him back, just wait and see) My daughters and Joanna put in many hours of preperation for the day and they done a wonderful job. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU ALL.
Happy Birthday, Flo. You are now a "Young" Seventy year old. Someone told me that you don't get old until you can't get up from the toilet. I would have loved to have been at this party and to meet you and Pam.... you are good people!! Again, Happy Birthday.... Life begins at Seventy, you know. ;)
I'm so glad you had a great party Flo.. Mama said it was wonderful and told me all about it..
I'm so sorry I didn't get to come. I am here with Mark being "Nurse Hatchett" ;D since he had a full knee replacement. I am full time nurse, physical therapist, cook, laundry lady, housekeeper, yard gardener, bookkeeper and still overall "mom" and "grandma".... soooooo I was up to chores to my ears and I didn't get to come. I REALLY wanted to ( for many many reasons ;) ) but it just didn't work out this time. I hope you enjoyed your special day .. You are a very special lady and a wonderful friend.
Teresa, your mother explained why you wouldn't be able to attend. While I fully understand, you were still missed. It was a wonderful day. Got to visit with your mother at the fair grounds later in the evening also. She is one terrific lady. The birthday card she made me is one to be treasured. I received so many many beautiful cards and they are still coming. (course, got my share of cards that fit what some think is my personality lol )
