Vicki Ann Stewart, age 77, previously of Belknap, Kansas, passed away on March 25, 2026 at her home in Winfield, Kansas.  Born July 4, 1948 in Sedan, Kansas, she was the daughter of Earl and Evelyn (Moore) Jones.

Vicki was raised in Moline, Kansas and graduated from Moline High School in 1966.  She married Richard Joseph Hopper in 1967.  They had two children and later divorced.  On May 5, 1994, Vicki and William Charles "Billy" Stewart were married in Miami, Oklahoma.  They made their first home in Moline before building their home on the farm in Belknap and moving there. 

Vicki worked for many years as a Paraprofessional at the Winfield State Hospital and Training Center until its closing in 1996.  She then worked as a medical assistant at the Moline Clinic until retiring in 2008.  After retirement, Vicki and Billy loved working on the farm raising pigs and cattle for many years.  Vicki also enjoyed gardening, especially growing tomatoes.  She also loved to go shopping and visiting antique stores.  Billy preceded her in death on May 16, 2020.

Vicki's family includes her children, Rick (Karen) Hopper of Rock, Kansas and Missy (Daryl) Leverenz of Arkansas City, Kansas; her grandchildren, Valerie (Tony) Eastman of Winfield, Kansas, Crystal Hopper of Wichita, Kansas, Brian (Emily) Hopper of Rock, Kansas, Forrest Huckaby of Neodesha, Kansas, Autumn Hopper of Atlanta, Kansas, and Amanda Creamer of Arkansas City, Kansas; her niece, Sharon (Jeff) Kuepker of Colwich, Kansas; her nephews, Mark (Rebecca) Stewart and Brian (Brook) Stewart, all of Belknap, Kansas; and numerous great-grandchildren and extended family members.  In addition to her parents and her husband, Vicki was preceded in death by her brother, Robert E. "Bob" Jones.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Miles Funeral Home, 4001 E. 9th Avenue, Winfield, Kansas 67156.  Interment will follow at Belknap Cemetery in Chautauqua County, Kansas.  A memorial has been established in Vicki's name for the Belknap Church.  Contributions may be made to the funeral home.
