Patricia Louise (Clogston) Hill was born July 29, 1932 in Severy, Kansas to Charles E. and Lillian Irene (Ivey) Clogston.  She passed from this life on January 10. 2025 in Sulphur, Oklahoma at the age of 92 years.

Patricia grew up in Severy, graduating from Severy High School, Class of 1950.  She married Mike Burke in 1951.  To this union were born two sons, Kelly Michael and Timothy Shane.  Early in her married life, Patricia worked on the family farm and devoted her time to raising her two sons.  In the early 1970s, she began working as a secretary at Severy High School.

On October 11, 1977, she married John D. "Bud" Hill, making their home in Kingwood, Texas.  It was in Kingwood that she began working in the retail banking industry, later retiring as a branch manager.  In 2010, she and Bud moved to Davis, Oklahoma to be closer to family.

Patricia was a truly kind, gentle lady.  She was a devoted member of the Central Church of Believers where she was continually active through the church.  She was never one to sit idle.  She was always busy working on various types of puzzles and playing cards with her cousin, Shirley Marshall.

Patricia is survived by her two sons, Kelly (Marilyn) Burke of Davis, Oklahoma and Tim (Dana) Burke of Severy, Kansas; grandchildren, Jimi (Glenn) Bechtel, Jasey (Sarah) Burke, Kelly Rayn (Allison) Burke, Dawn Spencer, and Taylor (Brandon) Thompson; great-grandchildren, Graham and Brianne Bechtel, Ella Burke, Nolan and Mason Burke, Parker and Lucy Thompson, and Charlotte and Henry Pfister; her beloved cousin, Shirley Marshall whom she thought of as a sister; as well as her loving church family of Central Church.  In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by the father of her children, Mike Burke; her husband, Bud Hill; her brother, James Clogston; and an infant brother.

A service of remembrance was held on January 24, 2025 at the Central Church of Believers in Sulphur, Oklahoma officiated by Brother Thomas J. Thompson.  Services were entrusted to Hale's Funeral Home of Davis, Oklahoma.
