Claudia Ruth Jeanneret passed away at Eureka, Kansas on October 28, 2021.  She was born on July 7, 1948 in Gridley, Kansas to Charles and Alma Lee (Watts) Schlotterbeck.

Claudia spent her childhood in Eureka, graduating from Hamilton High School in 1966.  After school, she was united in marriage to Ray Jeanneret on October 14, 1967.  Together they celebrated 48 years of marriage before Ray's passing in 2016.

Claudia received her Associate's degree and worked as a registered nurse.  Her main place of practice was at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas from which she retired in 2011 after over 15 years of service.  She regularly played pitch games with friends and participated in bowling leagues.  She loved spending time with family, especially her grandkids.  She became especially fond of her daugher-in-law's chicken to whom she regularly fed apples. 

Claudia's memoryi will forever live on in the hearts of her children, Patrick (Teresa) Jeanneret of Eureka, Kansas and Lanita Keith of Wichita, Kansas; her 11 grandchildren; her 5 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Everett Schlotterbeck of Buffalo, Kansas and Andy Schlotterbeck of Virgil, Kansas; and 2 sisters, Rodena Holland of Andover, Kansas and Gayla Cox of Sedan, Kansas.  Preceding Claudia in death is her husband, Ray Jeanneret; her parents; and one brother, Ivan Joe Schlotterbeck.

Cremation has taken place.  Arrangements were entrusted to Van Arsdale Funeral Services of Madison, Kansas.
