President Obama headed to the port of New Orleans on Friday to call on Congress to get behind his plan to pour tens of billions of dollars into nation's infrastructure, action that he says is crucial to bolster U.S. exports.

The visit to New Orleans by Obama, an effort to remind Americans that bolstering the economy is still his top priority, comes as his administration has struggled to right the ship after a bungled rollout of the federal health exchange.

Obama wants Congress to spend $50 billion for roads, bridges and ports, and establish a National Infrastructure Bank. He says such steps would help attract more private-sector investment to repair the nation's infrastructure and create American jobs.

The Obama administration is negotiating to release Guantanamo terrorists to a renowned Middle Eastern Al Qaeda training ground if the prisoners undergo "counseling, instruction in a peaceful form of Islam and job training."

This is no joke, though it sounds like a bad one. Better yet, the famously corrupt and leftist United Nations is helping with the deal, which is being kept quiet and solidified in a western European country. A mainstream newspaper got wind of it and reported on it this week, revealing "previously undisclosed talks held in Rome recently because of security risks in Yemen," the eventual landing spot for the prisoners.

The deal would involve transferring dozens of prisoners held at the U.S. Naval base in Guantanamo Cuba to a "detention facility" outside Yemen's capital. "Deep disagreements remain on funding, and about whether it would function as another prison or as a halfway house for detainees to reenter society after years of confinement and isolation," according to the news article, which quotes a U.S. official admitting "the risks are very high."

Obama to Force Military Families Away From Tricare ...By Tripling Their Fees.

President Barack Obama has said on multiple occasions that he stands by the troops, and lauds their selflessness in fighting the Iraq war and the conflict in Afghanistan.  During a time when our bravest in uniform have been in a state of war for more than a decade, one would think that our fearless leaders should reward their efforts by making life a bit easier at home.

Instead, Obama simply insists on tripling their fees on the military health insurance program called Tricare.

What is the administration's reasoning on this?  Well, they actually admit that Obama would rather the troops partake in 'alternatives' that were established in the Affordable Care Act (otherwise known as Obamacare).  In a report from the FreeBeacon.com, Bill Gertz states:


Administration officials told Congress that one goal of the increased fees is to force military retirees to reduce their involvement in Tricare and eventually opt out of the program in favor of alternatives established by the 2010 Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare."

This is quite a telling move by the Obama administration, due to the transparency in a letter written to congress, as the FreeBeacon.com further reports:


The Administration is disappointed that the Congress did not incorporate the requested TRICARE fee initiatives into either the appropriation or authorization legislation," the White House wrote in an official policy statement expressing opposition to the bill, which the House approved in May."

So, what are these 'fee initiatives'?  The Bill Gertz goes on to say,


Significantly, the plan calls for increases between 30 percent to 78 percent in Tricare annual premiums for the first year. After that, the plan will impose five-year increases ranging from 94 percent to 345 percent—more than 3 times current levels.

According to congressional assessments, a retired Army colonel with a family currently paying $460 a year for health care will pay $2,048.

The new plan hits active duty personnel by increasing co-payments for pharmaceuticals and eliminating incentives for using generic drugs."

Essentially, Barack Hussein Obama would rather force military families to partake in Obamacare welfare-backed programs rather than using Tricare, and he had hoped to do this by tripling their premiums in just 5 years.

All the while, the report states that Obama leaves his true friends, the 'unionized civilian defense workers', unscathed by tax and premium hikes:


The Obama administration's proposed defense budget calls for military families and retirees to pay sharply more for their healthcare, while leaving unionized civilian defense workers' benefits untouched. The proposal is causing a major rift within the Pentagon, according to U.S. officials. Several congressional aides suggested the move is designed to increase the enrollment in Obamacare's state-run insurance exchanges.

The disparity in treatment between civilian and uniformed personnel is causing a backlash within the military that could undermine recruitment and retention."

The sad part of this tale is that Barack Obama clearly has no loyalty to his country, his 'friends', and most certainly the troops that would carry out his commands without question for the love of their home.  It is clearly only profit and power that pulls him out of bed in the morning, and lulls him to sleep at night.  How so?

We already know that upon the passage of Obamacare that the market reacted by tanking 1%, while certain public sector insurance companies, hospital firms, and pharmaceutical manufacturers significantly increased in share prices.  We already know from leaked Pfizer lobbyist memos that they were going to pledge $80 billion to Obama's reelection efforts if he were to pass the ACA.  So, essentially, the fact that Obama's action of forcing military families away from Tricare and towards these public sector insurance 'alternatives', shows who he really serves.  ...just a hint, it's not you or anyone in the military.

That's correct, he serves the unionized defense contractors (as long as they serve him in return), and he serves public sector companies and Wall Street-owned major medical companies, like Pfizer (also... as long as they serve him in return).

In the closing, Patricia Campion of Yahoo News writes these insightful words:


As commander-in-chief, I want every veteran to know that America will always honor your service and your sacrifice — not just today, but every day," the president said in November. "And just as you fought for us, we're going to keep fighting for you — for more jobs, for more security, for the opportunity to keep your families strong and America competitive in the 21st century."

Of course, he forgot to warn them he was about to kick their existing health care insurance plan so far out of reach that they'd be forced to grab the plan that 53 percent of Americans want repealed for survival."

Medicaid Enrollment Soars With ObumaCrappycare – 1.5 Million Enrollees So Far

It's worse than we thought.
Medicaid enrollment has soared since the Obamacare exchanges opened on October 1, 2013. In Maryland the number of new enrollees is more than 25 times the number of those who signed up for private coverage. 1.5 million have signed up for Medicaid so far.

The cost of Obamacare's Medicaid expansion will further burden state governments already struggling to afford the program.

The biggest reason for the initial jump in Medicaid enrollment is that hundreds of thousands of people in the expansion states have been pre-qualified for expanded Medicaid because they are already enrolled in low-income state health care. Illinois, for example, will roll over 100,000 Cook County residents who have received expanded Medicaid benefits since 2011...

....Stateline's survey indicates at least 1.5 million people have already signed up or have been pre-qualified for expanded Medicaid in the 19 states that provided counts. Expected total enrollment in those states is 3.7 million.

The Egyptian government has made clear that they have 'the goods' on President Obama and his administration, and are none too happy about the administration's support of the Islamist organization, the Muslim Brotherhood. The current Egyptian government has told the press that they had 'wiretapped all communications made by ex-president (and Muslim Brotherhood strongman) Morsi during his year as president.'

What revelations will they expose?

U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry, visited Cairo last week just hours before Morsi's trial was to begin. Can we assume he was there to advocate for Morsi? We do know that after Kerry's departure the interim Egyptian President authorized a statement that essentially said, "Americans can't be trusted, and we're now going to work with Russia instead."

Since then, Egypt has sent an official delegation to Russia to prepare for the Russian Defense Minister's upcoming trip to Egypt. This trip is a prelude to Russian President Putin's trip to Egypt, an event that hasn't occurred in decades. The last time Egypt and Russia had such a 'feel good' relationship was during the glory days of the Cold War, an era that both states seem to want to rekindle.

Russia has committed to giving Egypt 4 billion dollars' in weapons while Egypt has apparently volunteered to allow Russia to place a naval base somewhere along Egypt's shores.

Has United States diplomacy ever failed so miserably, in such a short amount of time? What does a 'Russian' Egypt mean for the Middle East and the American presence there?

It's Time For Obuma To Resign!

By any reasonable measure, Obuma's is a failed presidency.  The stimulus failed to stimulate, with unemployment remaining vastly higher than administration economists predicted... even without the stimulus, much less with it.  (An awful lot of the stimulus money also seemed to wind up in the hands of Obuma cronies and contributors, too.)  And after a brief downtick last month, the unemployment rate is back up in October tho' his administration says it is lower.

Promises to rebuild our diplomacy from the days of the Bush administration have also gone unfulfilled.  The "reset" with Russia was a failure, allowing Russia to counter U.S. interests across the globe.  Obuma's support of the "Arab Spring" has backfired, with Sharia-fueled Islamist governments springing up all over.

In Libya, things are worse yet, with a deadly debacle in Benghazi that cost the lives of four diplomats, including our ambassador, and would have cost more except for two heroic CIA operatives who rescued as many as 24 people at the risk of... and, in the case of two, the cost of... their lives.  This was followed by an administration cover-up.... still unraveling as officials desperately try to keep the lid on until after the votes are counted... and an absurd, weeks-long effort to blame everything on an obscure YouTube filmmaker.  Who, conveniently, was in jail on trumped up charges made by the Obuma Adm.

We're not doing any better with the ongoing fight in Syria; the Pakistanis don't like us because of drone strikes; in Afghanistan our troops are being shot by our Afghan "allies"; and Iran continues to press on toward becoming a nuclear power.

In domestic politics, Obuma hasn't exactly covered himself with glory.  He chose, mistakenly, to focus on health care instead of economic recovery, and we wound up with a bill packed with giveaways for special interests and still highly unpopular with the American people... rammed through using legislative technicalities.  Even Democrat Ex-Gov. Douglas Wilder of Virginia, the first black elected governor since Reconstruction, is criticizing Obuma.

Steve Contoro writes in The Washington Examiner: "Wilder, an emphatic Obuma supporter in 2008, said his fellow Democrats should have focused more on creating jobs during his first term and faulted the president for failing to keep his campaign promise to bridge the partisan gap in Washington."

"I think he's governed left of center and didn't focus on jobs and economic recovery," Wilder told The Washington Examiner.

That's right.  And his arrogance ("I won") and inflexibility have ensured that not much would get done.  Obuma hasn't even passed a budget and didn't even get any Democratic votes in the Senate though we've somehow managed to run trillion dollar deficits every year anyway.  Put it all together, and you've got the portrait of a failed presidency. It is time for him to go!

This shouldn't be surprising. When elected, Obuma was inexperienced: Most of his career in government was in the Illinois State Senate, with only a couple of years experience in the U.S. Senate, most of which he spent running for president.  He had no private-sector experience, no executive experience (beyond the Harvard Law Review) and little knowledge of the United States beyond the major metropolitan areas of New York, Boston and Chicago.  It would have been a miracle if he had turned out to be competent.

In 2008, lots of people expected that miracle.  It didn't happen.  Barack Hussein Obuma has FAILED.  It is DAMN time for him to go!

But that's exactly what Deborah Cohan did yesterday right before she went into surgery to have her breasts removed. Cohan, an Ob/Gyn and mom of two, held a dance party with her medical team in the operating room of Mt. Zion Hospital in San Francisco.

This inspiring 6-minute-long video, posted on YouTube, shows Cohan busting some serious moves as she wiggles and twerks to Beyonce's hit "Get Me Bodied." Cohan requested that friends and family make videos of themselves dancing to Bey too so that she could watch them during her recovery. "I have visions of a healing video montage," she wrote. "Nothing brings me greater joy than catalyzing others to dance, move, be in their bodies. Are you with me people?"

What the hell just happened? 'Tyranny By Executive Order' | by Constitutional Attorney Michael Connelly, J.D.

What the hell just happened? That is the question that many Americans should be asking themselves following the news conference where Obama unveiled his plan for destroying the Bill of Rights to the U.S. Constitution. At first glance it appeared to be a case of Obama shamelessly using the deaths of innocents, and some live children as a backdrop, to push for the passage of radical gun control measures by Congress. Most of these have no chance of passing, yet, Obama's signing of Executive orders initiating 23 so called Executive actions on gun control seemed like an afterthought.

Unfortunately, that is the real story, but it is generally being overlooked. The fact is that with a few strokes of his pen Obama set up the mechanisms he will personally use to not only destroy the Second Amendment to the Constitution, but also the First, Fourth, and Fifth Amendments. It will not matter what Congress does, Obama can and will act on his own, using these Executive actions, and will be violating both the Constitution and his oath of office when he does it.

Here are the sections of the Executive Order that he will use:

"1. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal agencies to make relevant data available to the federal background-check system."

What exactly is relevant data? Does it include our medical records obtained through Obamacare, our tax returns, our political affiliations, our military background, and our credit history? I suggest that all of the above, even if it violates our fourth Amendment right to privacy will now be relevant data for determining if we are allowed to purchase a firearm.

"2. Address unnecessary legal barriers, particularly relating to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, that may prevent states from making information available to the background-check system."

This should be read in conjunction with section 16 of the order that says:

"16. Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes."

One of the few amendments successfully placed in Obamacare by conservatives does appear to prohibit doctors from asking such questions. Yet, with these two Executive actions, Obama is illegally amending an act of Congress and setting up a procedure for him to force doctors to gain information from patients about gun ownership, and to get our medical history.

Section 3 of Obama's order states:

"3. Improve incentives for states to share information with the background- check system."

Once again, what does this mean? What information does the Federal government want from the states? Copies of state personal and business income tax returns or court records of divorce and child custody cases are possibilities that come to mind as well as our voter registrations showing our party affiliations. How does any of this figure into our right to purchase a firearm?

One of the most dangerous and troubling sections of the Obama order in Section 4 that states:

"4. Direct the attorney general to review categories of individuals prohibited from having a gun to make sure dangerous people are not slipping through the cracks."

This section directs Eric Holder, the architect of Operation Fast and Furious that illegally transferred several thousand semi automatic weapons to Mexican drug cartels and resulted in the deaths of hundreds of Mexican citizens and several U.S. border patrol agents, to now add people indiscriminately to the list of Americans ineligible to purchase firearms. Who might be added to the list?

Well, let's look at the record of the Obama administration. Shortly after being appointed as the Director of the Department of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano sent a list of potential domestic terrorists to law enforcement agencies around the country. The list included individuals who were pro-life, who supported the Second Amendment, who had Ron Paul bumper stickers on their cars, and most disturbing, all members of the military returning from combat in Iraq or Afghanistan.



The list has recently been supplemented to include individuals who hoard more than a week's supply of food and water, and those who support individual liberties and oppose big government. I belong on most of these lists and I suspect that Eric Holder will be adding all of us to the list of dangerous people not qualified to own guns. In other words, you will no longer have to be a convicted felon or mentally ill to make the list; you will qualify simply by being an American patriot.

This is not a conspiracy theory, at the United States Justice Foundation we are seeing increasing evidence that military veterans are being specifically targeted by the Obama administration when it comes to prohibitions against purchasing firearms. Any veteran diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is in danger of being banned from owning a firearm. Even those veterans suffering from mild depression are being added. None of these conditions constitute a mental illness that makes them a danger to themselves or others.

However, in Obamaland veterans who took an oath to "protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic", are definitely considered a threat to the new Fuehrer and must not be allowed to own firearms.

If we skip to Section 6 of the order we get a good idea of Obama's real intentions when it comes to gun control. That sections states:

"6. Publish a letter from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and Explosives (ATF) to federally licensed gun dealers providing guidance on how to run background checks for private sellers."

This is particularly interesting because one of the legislative proposals is to require universal background check requirements for any firearm transfer even between private citizens. In other words, you can't sell your firearm or even give it to someone s a gift without Federal government approval. It is doubtful that this proposal will pass in the House of Representatives, yet Obama is already setting up the mechanism for enforcing the requirement. That is a clear signal that he doesn't care what Congress does, he is going to violate the Constitution and bypass the Legislative branch in order to push his agenda to disarm the American people. I suspect he will ultimately use Executive orders to ban many weapons including most rifles and pistols.

There are numerous other actions dictated in the Obama order, but I think you get the idea. Our Second Amendment right is going to be taken from us for whatever reasons Obama decides. The simple act of opposing these actions can cause the Attorney General to place you on the list of "dangerous people". Our privacy will be violated and all of this will be done without due process of law. That is what just happened.
