"What difference, at this point, does it make"

Poll: Hillary Clinton's Approval Rating Plummets 10 Points, Down To 46%

"Yeh got to be kidding... sh!t"

(It always amuses me to hear liberals claiming Pant Suits is a lock
to win the presidency in 2016.  Nothing could be further from the truth)

Via WSJ:

Hillary Clinton, in addition to President Barack Obama, is facing declining approval numbers, a poll shows.

Clinton has lost a majority of public approval dropping to 46 percent approval from 56 percent in April, according to the NBC News/Wall Street Journal survey released Wednesday. Thirty-three percent have a negative view of the former secretary of state.

The poll also highlights that Clinton is losing support among younger voters, independents and even within her own party. She dropped 15 percentage points since April among 18- to 34-year-olds who said they had a positive view of Clinton to 38 percent. Additionally, her approval rating among independents fell from 46 percent to 35 percent. Clinton's approval among Democrats also fell by 12 points, from 88 percent in April to 76 percent in the most recent poll.

Clinton, who is widely seen as the front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2016, has yet to make public any plans to seek the presidency.

(Obviously Hillary Clinton is the front-runner for 2016 as she has the greatest name recognition; however... she does face several obstacles that could be her undoing:

1. Because Hillary Clinton has such name recognition and is a known commodity, very few are going to have no opinion or not know they name so she has very little upside in undecided individuals.
2. Hillary Clinton is considered part of the "Washington establishment" and by the time 2016 rolls around the American people may be beyond completely fed up with Washington "insiders".
3. After 8 years of Barack Obama and an exasperated America, the voters may just be exhausted of having a Democrat in the White House.
4. If Obamacare continues to be the disaster that it is and implodes as the model is pretty much unsustainable the Americans are going to be in no mood for Hillary Healthcare either.
5. Benghazi, Benghazi, Benghazi ... when the truth comes out and it will come out, it will be damning for Hillary Clinton. She is going to rue the day she made the comment, "What difference does it make ... "  She is going to be savaged in the debates and going to have to answer for Benghazi and why she turned a deaf ear to warnings and requests for more security.

At 5:15, 'What difference, at this point, does it make'

6. Obama Fatigue and he may be so unpopular and toxic at that point that it taints her run.
7. The outcome of the 2014 elections.
8. If the economy continues to stink, pathetic job growth, low employment participation rate, record federal debt and record food stamp participants, America is going to want a change of parties at the top.
9. Did I say Benghazi?
10. Hillary Clinton will be 69 years old in 2016 and is there that young Democrat candidate that we have not even heard of yet that will steal her thunder as Obama did in 2008?

ME?  I'm banking on 5 and 8 & 9... Warph)

AND THEN WE HAVE THIS:

Report: ObUma Campaign Considered Dropping 'Plugs' Biden
From 2012 Ticket
In Favor of 'Pantsuit'

(Old news... move along)

Via NYTimes:
http://www.nytimes.com/2013/11/01/us/politics/book-details-consideration-of-replacing-biden-on-2012-ticket.html?_r=2&

President Obama's top aides secretly considered replacing Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. with Hillary Rodham Clinton on the 2012 ticket, undertaking extensive focus-group sessions and polling in late 2011 when Mr. Obama's re-election outlook appeared uncertain.

The aides concluded that despite Mrs. Clinton's popularity, the move would not offer a significant enough political boost to Mr. Obama to justify such a radical move, according to a newly published account of the 2012 race.

The idea of replacing Mr. Biden with Mrs. Clinton had long been rumored, but the journalists Mark Halperin and John Heilemann, in their new book, "Double Down," provide a detailed description of the effort inside the senior circle of Obama advisers. It was pushed by the chief of staff at the time, William M. Daley, despite the close personal rapport Mr. Daley had developed with Mr. Biden, a fellow Irish Catholic and veteran of Washington politics.

"When the research came back near the end of the year, it suggested that adding Clinton to the ticket wouldn't materially improve Obama's odds," the authors write in their sequel to "Game Change," which chronicled the 2008 campaign. "Biden had dodged a bullet he never saw coming — and never would know anything about, if the Obamans could keep a secret."

In a phone interview on Thursday, Mr. Daley acknowledged that he had wanted to research what the move would have meant for Mr. Obama, whose popularity, in the fall of 2011, was at its lowest in his presidency to date. He called it simply "due diligence."

"I was vocal about looking into a whole bunch of things, and this was one of them," he said.

My understanding is, if your insurance company changes any parameters in your existing policy (deductible, premium, coverage, etc.) the plan would no longer be compliant with the ACA and would have to be eliminated... thereby forcing you to select a new 'compliant' (and more costly) plan.

Caveat:  I'm not sure, with the business waivers/delays, illegally implemented by the O'Liberal administration, exactly how employer provided plans are affected by such changes for 2014.

If by 'company' you meant your employer requiring a higher employee contribution, then no, no plan change has occurred, and the plan could still be grandfathered.

Fabian (Progressive) Media Propaganda – The Media And Their Willingness
To Adopt Government Definitions Of What's Good For You
October 31, 2013

(Jeez.... This MSNBC segment ranks right up there in the hierarchy of all time propaganda visuals.  If you know anyone still clinging to the concept of liberalism not infecting the biased presentations of the media, just send them this clip):

The quoted part below starts at the :30 sec mark:

MSNBC's Thomas Roberts –  Is there an intellectual dishonesty that's happening here from Republicans who are not willing to admit that the shame should really be on private insurance companies who have been selling junk policies to these millions of Americans that don't meet, now, the ACA's federal standard of health care that people should have in this country?

That basically, there are millions of Americans that have been one disaster — that they can't even comprehend — away from going into bankruptcy because of the fact that they have had a junk policy that has given them a falsity of safety?

Study: If You're White And Own A Gun, You're Racist

(Okay... One, two, three, let's say it together!  Racisssssst!)

Via Fox News:
If you believe a new study, whites who own guns do so because they harbor racist feelings towards blacks. Indeed, in the study, four Australian and British psychologists also claim that racism is associated with opposition to gun control.

The lead paragraph on this study in Friday's New York Daily News summed up the claim this way: "Racism and guns go together."

So how is racism measured? Well, you are apparently "racist" if you don't agree that the legacy of slavery still has a great impact on how blacks are faring today. After all, slavery was abolished 158 years ago.

The notion that gun owners must be racist appears to fit journalists' worldview so well it probably never dawned on them that this research was fatally flawed.
Besides, blacks were doing relatively better on many dimensions, such as family stability, during the early 1960s than today.

CNN: Lowest Ratings In A Year

"Woooo... Wooooo"

(Megyn Kelly not surprisingly is still going strong)

Via Deadline.com:
Between 8 PM and 11 PM last night, CNN had a mere 67,000 viewers among the key news demo. That's the worst its done in the demo since August 10 last year.

With the Olympics were on NBC last August, CNN drew just 62,000 among the 25-54s that Friday. Not only was CNN behind rivals Fox News Channel (396,000) and MSNBC (127,000) but also it did worse than sister station HLN (93,000) and CNBC (79,000).

The most watched show on CNN last night was Piers Morgan Live at 9 PM which got a soft 83,000 in the demo and 340,000 viewers overall. Overall CNN had 285,000 viewers in primetime last night compared to MSNBC's 683,000 and FNC's 2.312 million.

Broken promise: Obamacare cancels almost 20,000 Kansas health care plans

By Travis Perry  /   October 31, 2013

CANCELED: Almost 20,000 Kansas health insurance plans will be canceled because of Obamacare, and that figure is only going to rise in the coming months.

By Travis Perry │ Kansas Watchdog

OSAWATOMIE, Kan. — As a result of Obamacare, nearly 19,500 Kansas health care plans will be canceled in the coming months, forcing individuals to purchase an Affordable Care Act-compliant plan either privately or on the federal insurance exchange.

And it's almost certain to be more expensive, said Aetna health care spokesperson Cynthia Michener.

Way back in 2009, when Obamacare was still a hope in the president's mind and an unknown entity to the general public, Barack Obama made his now infamous pledge: "If you like your insurance plan, you will keep it. No one will be able to take that away from you. It hasn't happened yet. It won't happen in the future."

Figures released by Kansas health insurance providers have shown it to be a bold misstatement, if not an outright lie.

Spokespersons with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City told Kansas Watchdog that large swaths of Kansas insurance contracts will be canceled — they prefer the term "non-renewed" — at the end of 2013 because they don't meet coverage requirements set forth by the ACA.

Individuals can only keep such plans if they were in place prior to 2010, allowing them to be grandfathered in under the provisions of the health care law.

While the current figure of nearly 19,500 impending cancellations is staggering, it's only just the beginning. Michener said Aetna, the parent company for Coventry Health Care, doesn't have a current count of how many contracts will not be renewed in the Sunflower State. Additionally, Kansas Watchdog has yet to receive a response from numerous other, smaller health insurance providers operating in Kansas.

For now, there's no telling just how many Kansans will be forced off their plans because of Obamacare. Also, keep in mind this poignant fact: The nearly 19,500 cancellations only refer to contracts, which can cover multiple individuals. If we're defining cancellations by sheer number of persons affected, well, the sky's the limit.

Mary Beth Chambers, corporate communications manager for BCBSKS, said the group started sending out cancellation notices in September. She said the result has been "a mixed bag. Customer service is getting calls from people who need to understand why this is happening, so we're explaining."

So, what exactly is that explanation? Michener said Obamacare mandates a base-level of coverage for health care plans, ranging from the inclusion of substance abuse services to prescription drugs and mental health. And even if you're a 59-year-old single male, you'll still be required to carry maternity and newborn care coverage.

"Health insurers will be required to cover more of the cost of care, which is good news for the uninsured and individuals with pre-existing conditions," Michener said. "However, richer benefits will often result in higher premiums for many consumers who currently purchase health insurance on their own."

Chambers has been reluctant to say whether Kansas consumers will pay a higher price because of Obamacare.

"As a habit we do not give out average premium costs because there are so many varying factors in figuring a premium that it is impossible," Chambers told the Topeka Capitol-Journal. "In this case it would not be an apple-to-apple comparison because the benefits are different. Also, how the premium is built for a person is totally different."

BCBSKC only operates in two counties — Johnson and Wyandotte — while BCBSKS serves the rest of Kansas.

Bribing Barack Obuma

What should happen to a group of men who stole trillions from the American people, who caused the 2008 economic collapse, putting millions out of work, causing devastation across America? As spelled out in minute detail in the mammoth 635-page Senate report, "Anatomy of a Financial Collapse," these men should go in prison.

But this isn't America anymore. It's Obama's corrupt Chicago politics transplanted to Washington, D.C. According to Peter Schweizer's just-published book, Extortion,  after the Senate's scathing report came out, the White House held a secret, off-the-record "dinner" for the Wall Street elite —a masquerade for a fundraiser—in which top Wall Street firms essentially bribed the Obama administration to not indict their corrupt companies.  Before the "dinner" was over, checks totaling several million dollars were collected.

Most would call this bribery or extortion.

But this is business as usual for the Obama administration. Video:
