Henry Honors America’s Founding Fathers With a Limited-Edition Rifle Collection

0

Seven specially engraved Henry Golden Boy rifles commemorate America’s 250th anniversary — with only 250 examples dedicated to each Founder.

Two hundred and fifty years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence, Henry Repeating Arms is marking America’s semiquincentennial in a way firearms enthusiasts and collectors can appreciate — with American walnut, blued steel, engraving, gold and a lever.

Henry Repeating Arms has introduced its new Founding Fathers Collection, a series of seven limited-edition Golden Boy Silver rifles honoring seven of the men whose ideas and leadership helped shape the United States:

  • George Washington
  • Thomas Jefferson
  • John Adams
  • Benjamin Franklin
  • James Madison
  • John Jay
  • Alexander Hamilton

Each Founding Father receives his own individually designed rifle, and Henry is limiting production to just 250 numbered examples of each edition.

For serious collectors, it gets even more exclusive. Henry is producing only 10 matched seven-rifle sets, bringing all seven Founders together with matching serial numbers.

History Engraved in Steel

The collection is built around Henry’s Golden Boy Silver platform and chambered in .22 S/L/LR.

Each rifle features a 20-inch polished blued-steel octagon barrel, nickel-plated receiver cover and Exhibition-Grade American Walnut furniture.

But the centerpiece is the engraving.

Each edition incorporates imagery associated with the Founder it honors, along with historical elements and the anniversary dates 1776–2026. Selected portions of the engraving are highlighted with 24kt gold, giving each rifle the appearance of a presentation firearm as much as a traditional rimfire lever gun.

Rather than creating one commemorative design and changing the name, Henry has given each of the seven rifles its own identity.

Seven Founders, Seven Rifles

The collection honors Washington, Jefferson, Adams, Franklin, Madison, Jay and Hamilton — seven major figures from America’s founding era.

They represent different parts of the American story: military leadership, the Declaration of Independence, diplomacy, the Constitution, the Federalist Papers and the creation of the new nation’s government.

And there is another number woven throughout the collection: 250.

America celebrates its 250th anniversary in 2026, and production of each individual Founding Father rifle is limited to 250 pieces.

Even the price carries the historical theme.

Henry has priced each individual rifle at $1,776.

A Lever-Action Connection to American History

There is something particularly appropriate about commemorating American history with a lever-action rifle.

The lever gun became one of the firearms most closely associated with the American West during the second half of the 19th century. Benjamin Tyler Henry patented his famous repeating rifle in 1860, and the Henry rifle became an important step in the development of the repeating firearms that followed.

The modern Henry Repeating Arms company takes its name from Benjamin Tyler Henry and continues to make the lever-action rifle a central part of its identity.

For Cowboy Action Shooting enthusiasts, collectors and students of Old West firearms, that makes the Founding Fathers Collection an interesting meeting point between two different periods of American history — the generation that founded the nation and the firearm tradition that later became inseparable from the American frontier.

Built for Collectors

These are clearly not intended to be ordinary rack rifles.

With only 250 examples of each Founder available, individually numbered production, elaborate engraving, 24kt gold highlights and Exhibition-Grade walnut, the Founding Fathers rifles are aimed squarely at the commemorative and collector market.

The rarest option will be the complete collection.

Only 10 matched seven-rifle sets are being offered, priced at $10,150 per set.

For everyone else, choosing a favorite Founder might be the difficult part.

Washington?

Jefferson?

Franklin?

Hamilton?

Or perhaps the only reasonable answer for a dedicated collector is: all seven.
