Beretta Stampede and Wolff Springs???
« on: May 18, 2006, 09:47:18 AM »
Now I'm stumped in two areas.

I purchased the Wolff reduced power Hammer and Sear spring kit to put in my Beretta Stampede.  My first step was to install the new Wolff hammer spring in one pistol and compare it to the original Beretta hammer spring in the other pistol.  Absolutely no difference.  My wife (Blue Steel Magnolia) tried it and even thought the original hammer spring was easier to pull. Her words were, you couldn't leave a good thing alone!!.

Problem number 2.  When I installed the reduced power wire sear spring (The Beretta Stampede actual comes with one installed made from a little larger diameter wire).  I cock and fire the pistol (snap caps in use) and the trigger sticks in the fully pulled position and I have to jiggle the hammer to get the trigger to release.

So what's up?? Anyone have any ideas here???
