  Spanish Army Handguns (1860-1890) I
In 1856, the revolver Adams, mod. 1856 is adopted. Its caliber was 10,5 mm. This revolver was the Spanish version of the British Beaumont-Adams revolver. This gun only was used by officers. It was made in Spain.
 
In 1858, the Spanish Army, only to use by officers, adopted the revolver Lefaucheaux, in caliber 11 mm. It was a Spanish version of the French model 1858 to the French navy. It was made in Spain.

In 1863, a new Spanish design of the revolver Lefaucheaux, in caliber 11 mm. It was used by Officers and Troops.

In 1874, it is recommended to the Officers the use of the revolver Smith and Wesson number 3, in caliber 11 mm, (Russian version).

In 1884, it is recommended to the Officers the use of the revolver Smith and Wesson system ONÁ, in caliber 11 mm. It is known like model 7, of “Orbea Hermanos”. It was similar to the number 3, but of double action. The system ONÁ was a Spanish design to update the S&W number 3.
 
In 1887, it is recommended to the Officers the use of the revolver Melvin Hubert, in caliber 11 mm. It was made by Anitúa y Charola, in Eibar, (famous industrial city of the north of Spain).

In 1905, the Spanish Army adopted the pistol Bergmann, mod. 1903, in caliber 9 mm.

Howdy Spanish Marshal,

Thanks for the interesting information on the pistols of the Spanish Army.  It seems that Spain modified various revolvers and then produced them there.  Thanks you for sharing.
