So, here is a concept thread... :)
The idea is for spurring new activity and participation.

Post here photo's of unknown stuff,
Old tools, Gun parts, odd ball finds, whatever.
Perhaps someone will know...

Here goes, these were found in a grab basket at my Friends FFL. He did not know what they fit, I thought Old Model Ruger Blackhawk.
I brought them home and cleaned them up and installed the
brass escutcheons where none were present, (the hole was predrilled)
material is Corian.

So, what revolver are these Grips for?  ???

I don't have a Ruger Blackhawk or old model Army
Could someone with one do a tracing of the grip frame or OEM grips so I might do and overlay ?

Cap'n Redneck

The long/drawn out "heel" of the grips reminds me of the earlier Pietta 1851 Navy grips...
Recent production Pietta's are more closely resembling Uberti & Colt.

:) I'm with Cap'n Redneck.  They do look like intended to fit the old style Pieta '51 Navy pattern grips.  Not that it helps, but they also appear to be way too "flat" which doesn't contribute much to the question.  Just a Saturday Morning observation.  Since you snatched 'em up out of the "Grab Box" the price was right regardless.

I have an old 51 frame I'll try

My first thought also were the same as Cap's and Coffins.

They could be fitted to a Pietta I suppose.
I probably won't, less I had a surplus grip frame.
Maybe I'll check eBay, might be a fun project.

Just for the heck of it, I asked Copilot (AI) what this was. Below is their answer. I have no idea if this is correct.

Thanks, Johnny.
I think it is a gun part or farm machinery part, since it come from a friend who is a farmer and give me some gun related items along with this. BTW, it is 7" long.

Hey Roger, did you ever figger out what those grip panels went to? I was thinking maybe an earlier Colt repro, like a Patterson or one of the Dragoons/Walker?
