Fairly busy day at work, got home, had dinner then watched Arkansas blow a 17 point lead in the Fourth Quarter. Ugh. Supposed to be nicer weather here the next couple days. Starting our Fall Revival tomorrow at Church, so Fellowship Lunch between Services tomorrow.

50 degrees this morn and crisp, enjoying it.
Went to the Toy Store yesterday, a couple of Arisaka Type 99
One w/ a MUM the other ground off.
The one "with" is pretty much a wall hanger. asking $350
The other one with ground MUM is a shooter grade @ $499.
There was Yugoslavian M48 Mauser looked to be a Mitchall's Mauser
 re-dux. but consigner asking is in the stratosphere.
There is an 1898 Chilean Mauser (LOEWE) that's cool
but I don' load 7 X 57 Mauser. 

I came home with NADA 

besides, I have my feelers out for a project Colt donor for Fitz special build.

My better-half and Sackett took youngest two daughter to Mitchell field (Milw) for their flight to Cuba. All four of the daughters are going. The other two are flying from Atlanta and Appleton.

Good morning folks, 56 here and sunny, hopefully it will be a nice day. Worked yesterday then had Revival Service at Church. Place was full and a wonderful spirit there. Ran home between work and Church, Lady C had made some bean soup that was delicious. Watching the news right now, thank God we are still in a free country where we are still able to vote.

We might run up to see a friend who is in rehab from a hip replacement. Got a rifle sight and a Kato locomotive out for delivery today.

Howdy all, 72 here and real purty! Gonna try to finish cleaning the reloading bench today, like any bench in a garage, it had accumulated "shtuff" !
Last night of our revival at church tonight, been fine preaching and a lot of visitors. Y'all be good.

Our good friend John Saffran has had a fall and broke his hip.
Doctors operated last Monday and inserted some rods, and they did get him to standup very briefly. He will be going to re-Hab
located in Minnesota next week (in the hospital now)
For about 3 weeks he said.
He and his Wife had flown to up on bereavement, their daughter in Law had lost her brave fight with breast cancer a week ago.
I just got off the phone, and he is in good spirits and will keep me updated....

Slept in this morning, finished our Revival last night, man it was good. Sunny and 72 here, so a very pretty day on hand. Gonna run by the gunstore today and see if the new receiver sight I got for my Savage 99 that's on layaway. Cross your fingers for me. Y'all take care!
