hi Guys, just wondered what you guys think of the High Standard Leech & Reardon CSA model and what used ones go for, im thinking $400 or less?
Bob

Coffinmaker

 :)  Well Heck Bob ;)

I'm at a complete loss.  I've never had opportunity to fondle one of those, let alone shoot one.  As far as I know, most went to "collectors" and were some rare to begin with.  I would suspect should you be looking for a sample example to shoot, lock works parts will be unobtbaneium.  Determining a value would be a crap shoot, best of circumstances.  Maybe 400 for a case'd, unfired collector example and a loose fired shooter probably half that (at best).  Good Luck

agreed Coffinmaker, there is one offered at Track Of The Wolf, they interest me in that they were made in Hamden Ct arround the same time or before Colt started with 2Nd Gen guns and frames were US made with Uberti parts as usual..parts could be an issue though, i guess if price is right as with most things then it might be worth checking out..
have a good wkend

Never heard of a Leech & Reardon. Maybe your 'close glasses' would read Leech & Rigdon?

Myoptic, eh? I got cha plus a hundred for close work. I have had the pleasure of shooting the High Standard variants. A fine friend of mine has a cased pair. Very well put together with a plus; the cylinder chambers are tapered as per the originals. Excellent shooters.
