Coffee and iced tea are ready.

'Tis 58 and overcast. "Mostly cloudy. Patchy fog in the morning. A chance of showers in the morning  then a chance of showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the middle 70s. Light and variable wind becoming northeast around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of rain 30 percent."

Off to purchase an Oil Filter Kit for my John Deere.
Nothing over exciting there except the BBQ joint of choice

Wow, house is quiet for a few minutes. We have an ongoing family visit right now that will not end til Monday or Tuesday. It's okay, great even, but wow, there is a reason God gives children to young folks. Uncle Kevin and Sue Sue are about worn out. Wouldn't trade it and praying God will bring them all up here from Mobile AL permanently. Roger, I forgot to get those pics, will try to this week sometime. Y'all take care, Deacon out!

Evening all.

Not much to report here. I bought a new planter box and got some popcorn planted. It's hot enough lately that I half expect it to pop ::)

In gun news, I am repairing a 1911 for my boss. Repair is a strong word, I'm just replacing recoil spring, trigger spring and the sear. But it's a lovely gun, 1918 manufacture date. It's been built as a race gun, and refinished, but is still a sweet old girl. I'll get around to posting pictures at some point.
