A Brace of Cavalries

I shot this brace for a 2nd time a couple weeks ago, smokeless this time with my mild 200gr loads.  The empties all fall out of the cylinder easily.  And it was another clean match.

Shot the Cavalries today, had 1 miss    but not bad.  It was the first time I shot them with my new shooting technique that I've been trying lately, double strong side rig, shoot left gun left handed, cocking with right hand, and vice versa on right side.  I like it. These holsters are made by Rod Kibler - I got a good deal on them.  They hang lower and at an angle, which I hate the way it looks with my gun butts sticking out sideways but with my long arms and high waist it certainly is easier to draw long barrels. I think I had one 21 second stage for 10-10-4 which is close to my best.  Today I was trying a new light Schofield load.  4.2gr of Clay-Dot and 165gr Bear Creek bullet. I have shot these in my '58 conversions but wanted to try them in the SAA's.  I just stuck the front sight all the way up from the rear and the shots were fairly well centered.  Recoil didn't seem much more than my .38's.  I asked someone to video me on one stage.  The lighting is bad at this range, the sun gets in my phone camera lens at times.  This was the last stage.
