Hello:
I have not seen a 1st Edition (1983), so have not compared the 1st and 2nd (1990) Editions.
I have been told by someone that has seen them that "All known Spencer company records are at the Cody Museum, in disarray".
Information not in my 2nd Edition:
Dimensional drawings, if exist.
Rifling twist rates for most models.
Info about off-spec parts in wartime sporters.
Who built the rifling machinery for the wartime tapered bores?
Details about1865 Models having thinner frames.
A reference for the use of "Norway Iron".
Finally, that Wilder first tried to get Henry's, but they were not available, so he purchased Spencer's. Some of his troops did obtain Henry's later.
These are not criticisms.
The amount of research by Mr. Marcot is impressive, and I respect him for it. Smiles.
