Has anyone have, seen or tried this Chinese leather shoe patching machine?
There are several YouTube tutorials, about the $118 machine.... \ available on Amazon.
here is one -

I've seen the Tippmann Boss, considered and rejected the purchase as too pricy at the time @ $1250.

I have watched many of the videos and have been sorely tempted.    If you get one, would love your thoughts.

I have heard of some having success with them after lots of adjustments but many that I have seen just say they are not worth the trouble. If you feel confident that you can adjust and tinker with it maybe you can make it work for whatever you're wanting it for.

I'm curious to hear what anyone thinks of this thing. It's hard to beat a hand stitch but for a few things, like stitching on cartridge loops, it might be a plus. In the saddle shop we had a very expensive Pfaff machine that we only used to punch holes so we could then hand stitch. At least with this machine, the price isn't prohibitive.

I've worked on a couple trying to get them to work. Sorta.  Not an experience I'd care to repeat.  I wrote a 3 page epistle of what's involved, then realized someone might see that as encouragement so I deleted it.

No.  Just no.

It sounds like you get what you pay for. Thanks, LW.
