Rear lock screw needed
« on: January 19, 2021, 02:30:58 PM »
Any idea where I could get the rear screw that holds the lock on.
I checked with Lodgewood, S&S, and Dixie. I broke about 1/4''
off the end of mine, maybe could be welded? Thanks

Hello:

Might try Larry Romano at Romano Rifle Company in Pennellville, NY.

Larry has restored originals and should have or be able to make one with the correct thread.
Be sure to ask how he will ID the threads, which vary depending on original, Italian repro or his repro.

All the best,

Two Flints suggested Regimental Quartermaster, they had a
reproduction screw with original threads, it's on the way. It was
the last one they had. Apparently I'm not the first one to break
this screw.
