When he shoots long barrels, by the time his vision gets all the way out to the front sight he forgets what he was aiming at.

  Well, let's don't get the "Super highpower zamanation magnification spection light" out just yet!!  CM is a retired (semi?) "gun plumber"  for cryin out load !! I?ve gotta old shotgun coming too. A gussied up Model 17 Marlin 12 ga pump. My first non takedown model. I probably will need to use my shorty shells as it?s chamber has more than likely not been lengthened.

Guys, I started this thread after an interesting experience at the sass wire. Can we call this one quits and agree to disagree. Last thing that I wanted was to create hard feelings here at cascity.

Why yes  BE, I'm way ahead of ya !  Lol.

  One thing I've learned in my life is that things don't go just exactly like you might want them to. And , when they don't, is the  outcome you get worth what is lost getting there?  I'd say know!! We all learn from each other, share with each other, ultimately need each other .  .  .   every time you "cut anybody off"  from your life experience, you'd probably be amazed at what you slammed the door on! 

 I'd much rather be friends than enemy's with everyone!! Makes for a better world in my opinion .  .  .  at this point I've known folks on this forum for quite a few years and though there has been a bump or two along the way, I'd help any one of them as much as I can!! To me, there's nothing I'd loose that would be worth keeping, why wouldn't I? It is usually returned in multiples!!!
 Thanks to those that allowed this to run its course!! I think it proves that civil folks can discuss, fuss, and in the end, shake hands and realize there is value in all concerned.  I'm thankful for several things that happened here and maybe some others are as well.

This critter. Like I said it?s been gussied up. A previous owner nickeled the mag, screws and trigger guard lower tang. Will look good when I shoot my nickel 1911 and birdshead and wear my silver Tim Strawn nose. I don?t like the pump grip hut I?ve got an original that should screw right on.
