Pietta confederate Dance
« on: February 13, 2020, 06:49:18 PM »
Greetings My Dear Netizens

If anyone is interested in the hard to find  Pietta  repro of the Confederate Dance
C&B revolver, here is an opportunity to bid one off the charts

https://www.invaluable.com/auction-lot/reproduction-1862-dance-confederate-.44-black-pow-7544ff5bb5

I have no horse in this race, and found the auction by chance whilst looking for Southwestern Concho Belts for Mrs Marvel.

I bobbed modified  that pistol myself and sold it about 7 years ago .... recognized it right off ....I had sold it to the Texas Law Dog

yeah  that is what decided it was Eliza and its crosshatch grips & reworded backstrap.

I reworked it in 2013 from NIB assembled parts and sent it to Jim

I bought a 44 Dance as a graduation present to myself for completing my MBA in 2014.   It is a great shooter, and that distinctive look is sharp!

 ;D  Ah Well ... Not Exactly   :o

A.  EMF Has them in stock.  B.  EMF has them in stock engraved "Old Silver" which is Pietta's proprietary High Polish steel and Heat Treat.  I have a pair.  But ... My two only have 3 1/2 inch barrels.  SNUBBIES they are.

ALSO:

Look closely.  At the Grips.  Trombone Bell bottom.  OLD STOCK.  The new examples at EMF has the latest version of Pietta Navy pattern Grips.  Correct to shape.

This seller is running a "Shell Game."  Bad Joss.
