Culvers has an awesome fish samwhich but would probably impress you like most burgers do me, better to buy the good stuff and make it at home.

we don't buy Omaha Steaks either  was given a gift pack once   frozen solid in dry Ice ...terrible cuts  thawed the remainder and grilled for the dog whom was not impressed either.

I have gifted boxes of Omaha Steaks to people and have not heard complaints.
May have been a "gift horse" type of situation, but I'm guessing they were able to wrestle the meat down.


In recent years I have noticed their quality has slid . . .

M2 I am a big fan of 5 guys- and their peanut oil fried, frys.

Glen I am sure I can make a pretty darn good burger at home. I don?t have to clean up the kitchen at the fore mentioned burger places- nor do I need to go shopping. Let?s don?t forget the curd fries and the shakes.  So now I spent $25 at the store for all the ingredients plus gas.  I?ll take the $8 platter  with a concrete please.

I use to get some stuff from Kings Saddlery in Wyoming, that was best stuff I ever used on leather, I cannot remember the name though.

Ours showed up close to 20 years ago.  I've ate there maybe 4 times.  Not high end, but nice enough to go inside and eat, not much for window food.

Going on my first adventure in a long time that ain't a has to do.   Going to the Nebraska State Historical Society for a noon lecture on the Solomon Butcher Collection, some lady professor from the Loony Versity.  Friend is taking me, we're going to see if she really knows anything, hope she does, sure miss my late friend John Carter, he spent a whole career with it.

This coming on Lent, here in the heart of Dixie- Giving up meat on Fridays is not a big thing. However all the fast food places that normally don?t carry fish, now do. Usually gone at end of March.

There is very little about living in Ohio that I miss- Friday perch or walleye first frys - perogies and good Hungarian foods.
I don?t regret moving though😃

I'm a little late to the party, But I'll take 5 Guys over most any other fast food burger, I got their fries once, were so many I couldn't finish them, The fact that they were very soggy with grease didn't help. I prefer my fries crispy to extra crispy.I like the free peanuts and refills as well.
