Delmonico
« on: December 18, 2019, 06:20:39 pm »
Here is the message I got from Delmonico's daughter at 1:13 PM, "His heart is better today it was at 30% instead of 20 but that can change daily. They did 4 bypasses, took 1 vein from his leg and stuff from the chest. He is tubed for breathing so we still can't see him for 3 or more hours so we can't see him until it is out. But dr said things were good and it went well."

Del, I had a triple 10 years ago, and could not believe how much better I felt afterwards. I have no complaints to this day. I wish you all the luck that I had my friend.   :)

Get well soon Dell so you can make me carmel macchiatos, medium dry, less sweet with extra foam :D

Not as serious as a triple bypass, but I have a stent in each main artery. Two heart attacks then a painful 65% blockage that felt more like a heart attack than the first two. You will beat this!

Del,  Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Finally found Andrea's phone# and got computer back up and running.  I got confirmation from the "Great Physician" two days before your procedure that "All is well!" so no concern for your recovery. I concur with the advice of those on this post...follow doctor's directions. God put him in your life for a reason and not just to "mend" you. Pontification  is over for today. Rest well and I shall try to call you later.
God Bless and shoot safe (later).

We just got home about an hour ago.  They say I should be good to go by summer.

We had The Honeymoon Suite at Lancaster Manor,  they bent over backwards to have a double room  for us.

Hi Del

Good to see you and the wife made it home.  Dad has a quadruple by pass back in 1984 and he made it until 2011 (92 years).  He had actual open heart so he never mowed the yard with a push mower again.  He could walk all over, but it hurt too much to push.  Apparently bypasses can be done with a camera on a stick now.

See you this summer.
