Stoeger SxS needs work!

Howdy All,

New guy here from Michigan.  Does anyone know of a good gunsmith for slicking up a Stoeger SxS?  It is so stiff, I can barely get it to open all the way.  I polished the mating surfaces and shortened the Auto safety spring, so it does not auto engage.  I think it is the springs that cock the hammers that are too stiff.

Slow Gin Ricky,  Have you tried Mackinaw Kid?  Not sure if he is back up and working, but might be worth a call.  You might get more response on the SASS wire.  Sarge
