Been raining all day, temps never got over 54, supposed to rain until 1:00a.m.then clear off some, tomorrow high of 58 with a low of 46. we went from summer to late fall in 2 days.

received 3 separate calls from 3 different 347 area codes screen reads New York ( Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, and Staten Island )

Auto message states my Social Security has been suspended due to possible fraudulent activity, then prompts me to dial 1 to speak to a reprehensive representative !

Yeah !   sure ! SCAM you betcha ...course I have not pressed  1   

Robot dialed message...probably routed through the NY area Code  ?.

M-2, I got a similar call a couple of days ago. Let the wife listen for a few minutes then we hung up on them. I should be trembling in my boots as I type, it said arrest warrants would be issued if I didn't respond immediately.

Common scam going on right now.

Others will help you with student loans.

I was rude with one of the the other day, called him a dumb mf and told him I was retired and mine were paid off over 40 years ago.  Told him where scammers could go who woke old people up from their naps.  Kid sounded maybe 18.

I notice NY is one a hand full of states without the death penalty.
Scams of Social Security should  be added to Capital murder rape terrorism and other heinous crimes.

Our Sherriffs does them generally in one day. You apply on line they call you and you go pick it up. You can get up to five years at a time. Open carry is often seen here.

the first 2 I answered with hello and it took a few seconds to start the message prompt to press  # 1 for a representative  ( I didn't)

Christmas doesn?t go up until after turkey day but stays up until new years. The way my wife and I have always done it. Got a bud and his wife who put up Christmas too early imo but take it down December 26th. Never understood it, like it?s all about the junk they get and give and not about the real reason. Ho Ho Homers.

Morning all.

35 and sunny with the possibility of snow this evening. 

Currently sitting in the waiting room of the doctor office while my girlfriend gets a routine blood test. 

Have a test in one class this afternoon, then I will be in Great Falls for my regularly scheduled dues to Uncle Sam.  My girlfriend has a friend coming from Denver to spend the weekend while I'm gone. They're going to Bozeman.

My CCW is still running through the system.  I've been OC, which is easier with the Beretta 92 anyway.

Sudden urge to inspect porcelain ... all is well on the front ...but now wide awake  ::)
Stoked the embers and added water to pot. coffee is on  then discovered a lone Ham Hot Pocket  :-\
May read awhile, maybe get some zzzzzzzzzzzzzz later.

Otherwise. plans include a typical Saturday visit to the Toy Store and lunch with a copula for friends....
There is Gun Show over in Melbourne , but last weeks  03 Springfield acquisition pretty much depleted the sock drawer stash....
I figure to forgo the drive & temptations  ::)
