And you can?t find a slaughter house around here to handle your homegrown hogs. For the home butcher Hogs are dirt cheap.
Go figure

We got lucky east of ABQ , there are a couple small hog farms that sell quite reasonably to the local independent food store. Great pork, chops are often on sale for around $1.25 a pound.

Whole hogs here are $75 to $100 if you are a diyselfer or know someone.
Maybe the problems in China and Japan will turn it around here.

Coffee is up- currently 73 will be in mid 90?s later no rain in forecast. Maybe a pork chop on my biscuit this morning will work.

Morning y'all.
Thanks fer the coffee.

Rained overnight.

'Tis 54 and sprinkling. "Numerous showers and scattered thunderstorms. Highs in the middle 60s. South wind 10 to 15 mph shifting to the west 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon. Chance of rain 70 percent."

Back in California, there are laes/rules on pigs. Makes it too difficult to raise them profitably for the average Joe.

Weather is 55 and overcast today. I'm done with class got the day.

Evidently Mr. Ringo is an educated man.

I just switched between classics, but hey. It works.

Hope TK has snow chains in his truck.... ::)

It snowed here a little, but nothing stuck. Great Falls and Kalispell are really getting pounded. East Glacier got 3 feet, and it's still falling.

Thanks fer the coffee.

I wish I could send some of this rain your way.
