Morning y'all.
Thanks fer the coffee.

Had a t'storm for 15 minutes starting at 0630. Made the land line ring twice.

'Tis 62 and overcast. "Humid. Cloudy. Numerous showers and scattered thunderstorms in the morning  then a chance of showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 70s. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent"

I mentioned him earlier. Do any of you keep in contact with Steel Horse Bailey? It has been nearly a year since he has posted. I don?t do face book. I do know he has been in poor health also

Thanks for the coffee, Slim.

Still cooler and dry air in place

But maybe too dry.

NEW DROUGHT MONITOR: Just out this morning, shows an expanding drought in Alabama. Now 48% of the state is at least Level 1, and about 15% of Alabama is in moderate or severe drought. No significant rain expected in Alabama the next 7-10 days means conditions will continue to get worse.

Braves clinch the east last evening. With just less than 2 weeks of regular schedule left.  Baseball is not dead.

Afternoon all.

Billings is getting towards fall. Yesterday topped out at 55. Today we're expecting 65, but it's noon already and barely 50.

Busy week for me. Last weekend, we went and camped in Bozeman. Monday i worked until 1am, and Tuesday I went with a friend to Missoula for a concert,v then didn't get back to Billings until 6am. Then I had class at 8am, and work again that night.  It's been a long week.  ::)

One less fun thing I learned is that a friend of mine back home was killed in a motorcycle accident last week.  He was a firefighter for CALFire, and he and his wife had just got a new house and were ready to start a family.   So that's been hard to get past this last week.

Aren't the Braves from Milw?  ;)

Sorry to hear of the bad news, TK. I'll be praying for the family.

Went to a CAS/Zoot shoot at Ripon. Had a good time shooting tommy guns, 1911A1's, and a 1917 S&W.
Micah shot CAS. He broke the transfer bar on his Pietta SAA. Then he shot a S&W pre-model 10 (M&P). He also shot a tommy gun on the last stage instead of the fish gun. So he shot CAS and  Zoot.

Afterwards, we went to Walmart to get stared at.  ;D
