I think the dog was just showing is bravery by riding with the old coot.

Morning Coffee is up... little rain yesterday. Now hot and humid... so nothing new for weather.

Feed store run in a little bit. Including stop for dog food.

Thanks fer the coffee.

'Tis 56 and overcast. "Showers likely and a chance of thunderstorms. Patchy fog in the morning. Some thunderstorms may produce heavy rainfall. Highs in the upper 60s. East wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent."

Morning all.

Currently 55 and sunny in Billings. Rained all day yesterday, but supposed to stay sunny through the weekend now.

Have classes in the morning, then this afternoon I'm just going to relax and take a nap. Sleep hasn't been in my vocabulary past week.

Del, when my dog would get antsy but I didn't want to walk her, we would drive around the block. That would satisfy her for a while.

Right now in Sun City Center, Florida the temp is 92 degrees with a heat index of 100. Tomorrow morning the low in Burlington, Wisconsin will be 49 degrees. Quite a difference!

My wife and I have adjusted to Florida's hot and humid weather surprisingly well. We  go to the pool early each morning. The weather is gorgeous for a few hours with temps around 75 to 78. When we go go out later in the day it's hot, but we know we have nice weather to look forward to in the morning.
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself

Just read the info on Tropical storms, they say it will remain east of us. More rainless days. To be seen?

revised tropical update shows the storm well out to sea, we had some rain and breeze yesterday in the afternoon.
foretasted Thursday for his morning , they said 100% rain ....then revise to 50 % yesterday ... Today I woke to clear mostly blue sky - to partly cloudy , very light breeze .

However I'll take it we do nut need a Tropical storm

At the work 20 this morning ...later-ish a visit to the toy store & lunch with a friend

Morning all.

Warm and sunny in Billings today. We're heading to Bozeman for the weekend, just to get one last trip in before winter.

Someone got my girlfriend's car last night while I was in the store. Local PD won't touch it though because it was on private property and there isn't a plate number. Oh well.

Snow in Jackson Hole today... 96 degrees here ::)

It got to around 45 last night in Bozeman.  Then hit 95 in Billings.

Back home in Billings now after spending the night in Bozeman. My girlfriend got me an introduction flight in a helicopter, and then we drove around the town and looked around.

Now I'm off to work for tonight.

Verked today. Monthly system outage

Cleaning the 1893 Marlin which I shot yesterday working on a load. Someone cleaned it from the muzzle with a metal rod for over 100 years. So, the crown is not good. It shoots smokeless jacketed bullets fine, but not cast smokeless or black powder.  :(

You going to recrown it yourself? Larry Potterfield has a video on it. It did not look too difficult what I
remember.
What caliber is it?
