Just got back from PT on my hip, went not expecting much based past experience, was wrong, a lot better, they electrocuted it then did some serious pulling and dang, much better.

I think you're pulling my leg. ::)
If one of them was a .45 1911, it'd run on a case full of 3-f, although cleanup might take a while.

But a 9, or a .32??? Don't know about that.

It would be interesting in 9 and 32.  Probably work in 32 though.  I wonder what a 223 would do with BP...

I've never tried it, but it has been reported on here on CAS City- maybe in the Wild Bunch area. But a 223?? Can you say EXTEREME FOULING? Maybe Dick Dastardly can come up with a Big Lube bullet for it?

If you wanted to try black in a 22, a Hornet might be better, it was originally a BP round.

I think the 223 would actually look like a firework fountain.

If you seriously wanted it to work you'd need a swaged bullet because it's almost impossible to cast anything less than lino in a 22 mould.

Maybe ;D. I think I'll leave the BP out of the AR for now.

Classes start tomorrow. Also have a cross country flight in the afternoon. Gonna be a long day.

If they seasoned it right it really wouldn't hurt it, no soap is a myth spread by those who don't know how to season right.😉

Morning all.

Early morning class today. 7am is a bit early for a class in my opinion. Oh well.  I have another in an hour or so now. But for the mean time I'm going to enjoy a cup of coffee and read a bit.

17.9 gallons of gas for 4.9 cents per gallon, last time the pickup was filled was July 1st in Sargent Nebraska, 199.8 miles from home.

Get points at Russ's Market off gas, insurance pays  a lot of it for Rx's, wife hates riding in my pickup, so it sits.  Ain't been drove for almost 3 weeks, I start it and let it run a bit about once a week.

Don't ask how much gets run through hers.  She fills at Hillis 66 and Jeff and the boys was her windows, check the oil, put the gas in, check the tires and fix flats and more.

It's worth the extra 2-3 cents a gallon not to deal with the dang thing.  DJ and I were using it one day and we opened the hood, and decided there was nothing under it we recognized, so we shut it.
