We live in Sun City Center, Florida which is around 25 miles due east of the Gulf of Mexico. It looks like Hurricane Dorian will bypass us but we still are prepared just in case.

My wife and I are pleasantly surprised how well we have adjusted the hot and humid weather here. Back in Wisconsin a hot and humid day would drive me crazy.

Thanks fer the coffee.

Slim, I have a stick magazine for a Thompson that I have no use for, would you be interested in it?
Sure. PM, me.

What do you use them for?

'Tis 51 and cloudy. High of 74.

Two tame turkeys invaded our domicile, yesterday. Therefore, it sounds like a small scale Ozark Tracker's place.  ::)

Slim- women love them as Luffas like the ones from the ocean. For exfoliation their skin. Artisan soap makers will put slices in Center of bar soaps. Craftsman use them like normal sponges for paintings and other crafts. I use one for cleaning off my hen eggs before boxing them for Farmers Market.
This is the second time we have grown them. We are still learning about them. I was hoping to get a hundred this year, might get 50 before frost. Might be 20 ready in next few days.

Ozark Tracker.... I wonder how they have been- we have 3 Guineas they sound like a hundred turkeys in the morning

That helps, thanks.

That's why we don't have guineas. Our roosters are bad enough.

Afternoon all.

Ended up not staying in Yellowstone last night. All the campgrounds in a 20 mile radius were full.  So we drove to the park, turned around and drove back. Went over Beartooth pass.

Have you been over the pass, Roo?

On the subject of fowl, my mom has lost 2 chickens in the past month. We hatched them out in the same brood, so we expected them to croak pretty close together.

Drove over the Beartooth pass several times on my Harley. Went over it once in a car in June after it had snowed the night before.

It could have new snow anytime in the year there, and has.

Back online again. Apparently the underground co-ax cable from the satellite is shot. Right now I have the satellite receiver hooked directly to the dish with a 2ft cable formerly used for a VCR, sitting on a stool under the dish in the front yard. Signal from the router's pretty weak, dish is about 50 feet away from where I sit now. I Guess I'll have to venture out today after all, to get some new cable.

We moved our router last week. However we installed YouTube TV. The dish hasn?t been used since. Looks like it will get shutoff. Moving the router improved all of our devices connections.

Got new boots from Work N Ranch yesterday, had a nice couple hours talking with Leith and Linda.

Told you know who to not touch them.

Saw something today Slim needs.  ;D

Laying down, I hope pt helps this hip, was a brown ball of fur just came shooting down the hall, up the doggy steps, up behind me, sassed me good and grabbed his weasel toy and headed back to the living room.

I'll rustle up some late night Chow for the night crew.

I just got off work, making sure the campus is safe.  The most exciting event tonight was a streaker through the lawn sprinklers. All recorded by her friends and put on some social media no doubt.  I'm not paid enough to worry about that at midnight, so we let it be.

We watched Tombstone again last night. Now I have an itch to shoot some black powder. Unfortunately, that itch will remain unscratched for quite a while. All I have are a couple of those newfangled autoloaders.

If one of them was a .45 1911, it'd run on a case full of 3-f, although cleanup might take a while.

But a 9, or a .32??? Don't know about that.
