My wife and I have a couple of the older NA 73's they are fine. If they have had work done on them it depends more on quality of work than anything else. Her 73 in 38/357 is her favorite rifle.

The older Navy Arms '73s are typical Uberti.  There is no real "Good," "Bad," nor "indifferent" with them as their just Ubertis.  If you want them to play nice and share toys, they will need work.  Springs at a minimum.

had Uberti 73 carbine .22lr which, although beat up when I purchased it, was reliable and accurate, I wished I'd kept it.
I now have a Uberti Yellow boy 66 carbine in .22 magnum, it is well made but the old style sights and my old eyes do not work well together, plus it weighs too much compared to my 9422.
I'm going to sell it but sadly I live in the UK.

I have one. It's actually more authentic to the original (outside appearance) than a modern Uberti. It has the cleaning rod compartment in the stock, front sight is soldered on the barrel, wood is not the overboard red color, etc.

Aren't these the Miruko Winchesters with Turnbull finishes on them and priced up another 65%?

Well, Slamfire did specify SRC.  I don't recall seeing that configuration on the Navy Arms / Turnbull Mirokus.  (Or an any Miroku '73 now that I think about it?)
