156th anniversary of the Battle of Hoover's Gap

A few days ago I was in Nashville on family business. I convinced my wife we needed to make a run down to Beech Grove and take some pictures for our friends at the SSS who have not had the opportunity to visit Hoover's Gap in beautiful Middle Tennessee. We all know the story of Wilder's impact on the acceptance of the Spencer as a military arm.
