« on: June 29, 2019, 04:31:23 PM »
I normally shoot close range but want to get out there a ways...must be the sharps rifle in me.

Dumb rear sight question.
In the elevation slider what index marker do you use to lineup with yardage marks.

Oopps forgot, this is on a kahr 1927a1 thompson rear sight.

Think i figured it out. Measured height of the v notch sight and then set the slide elevator to same height. It was positioned at the 0 mark which I believe is equal to the v notch 50yd indicator. The metal containing the apeture has 2 slanting cuts on its sides. Line the top of those cuts to the range marks for good enough range setting.
