Armisport Spencer with safety lever?
« on: April 24, 2019, 02:05:34 PM »
Hello:

While reviewing older Threads here I saw one of PvtGreg's of 20DEC14 entitled:
"New 44-40 Spencer Rifle".

In Reply #3 of 21DEC14, he refers to a "drop safety" and later on 03JAN15 includes a photo showing a lever on the lower rear right side of the frame.

If anyone can share details about this feature and perhaps how common these might be, it would be appreciated.

Many thanks,
El Supremo/Kevin Tinny

Tx, Two Flints:
That's it.  Been a while and am still curious about it.

I PM'd Pvt Gregg about a week ago on another question, but no response.

Regards,
Kevin
